Here's my prediction:
Cooper
Gallup
Austin
Hurns
Noah Brown
Lance Lenoir

I also predict Beasley gets a contract offer just big enough that Jerry doesn't match (Cowboys get comp pick?). Then the Cowboys re-sign Tavon to replace him. Rationale: Cooper is fantastic in the slot and with him on the field, Tavon does damage as well vs CB2s.

2019 starting WRs: Cooper, Gallup and Austin.

Thoughts?

The only significant questions are Beasley and do they add one in the draft or free agency.

Hurns will likely be gone. He is scheduled to make 6.25M in 2019.

I don't see Hurns back next year, too expensive. Other than Cooper and Gallup, I have no idea who we'll have. From things that he's said online, I don't think Beasley wants to play here next season. I could see Austin back, but I'd rather have Bease if I had to choose. Brown and Lenoir are just JAG's, I expect nothing from those guys.

Let me start it off.....
Does it matter?
Who is throwing the ball, and who is the OC, and do we have a new HC?

But to the question.

Cooper
Gallup
Brown
Cedric Wilson, anyone forget he is on IR?
Draft pick / FA
Austin, I think the team still likes what he can add.

They seem to have been keeping 6 WR's or in this case, this year 6 or 7.

Right off the top of my head, Hurns isn't coming back. Go look at his contract. He's not coming back.

WR1 - Cooper
WR2 - Gallup
WR3 - FA or Draft
WR4 - Wilson
WR5 - Lenoir
WR6 - FA or Draft

Let's look at the landscape.
2019 FA WRs: Kevin White, C. Patterson, P. Dorsett, Tj Jones, A. Humphries, C. Conley, R. Greene, JJ Nelson.

There's more interesting WRs. I like the idea of a speedy slot like Dorsett.

Give me the comp for Bease. Tavon, was good knowning ya buddy. New OC will need some room to add his type of WRs.

Great points, and I think Beasley's future is tied to a potential new coach. If he thinks the new coach can fix Dak and he won't be out there running around for nothing? I can see a potential return. If it looks like more of the same? I don't think he'll keep wasting his time for nothing.

I dont think we keep Hurns, but not sure on cap hit. Lenoir and Brown are both iffy to make the team as well. I agree with the rest.

it's a shame but we'll probably lose cole Beasley. he'll be offered more than what the cowboys will offer. but I doubt he wants to remain with the cowboys. he wants to play for a winner.

He certainly doesn't want to waste his time and abilities running around out there for nothing. Right now, he's dealing with a quarterback who either:
  • Doesn't see him
  • Overthrows or underthrows him
  • Or waits long enough for the defender he shook to play catch up if he does get him the ball
And worst of all, he has to sit back and "take the high road" and not say anything about the fact that this is what's happening.

If nothing changes, who would want to stick around for more of that?

Cooper and Gallup are the obvious starters.

Beasley and Austin are the question marks but I think both come back, Beasley won't get the contract offers he thinks he will.

Hurns and TWill have the same chance of being on the roster as I do.

Noah Brown, Cedrick Wilson and a draft pick compete for the final spots.
