Who says Julio's the one who has to score? He's got 2 TDs, but Calvin Ridley has 7. Most of those have been inside the red zone that Julio got them to, beating single coverage because Julio draws a constant double team. The lack of TDs doesn't mean much in my opinion. Jones is a monster.
That is true, but I'm betting, we go man on Julio with Jones, and take away Ridley... just my 1st thought on how Richardson might go at them... we will see

Well take away #5. Dallas is hurting on their interior dline.

At least it is now for certain that Deion Jordan won't be playing.

What would be the bottom five reasons?

Well obviously the injuries Dallas is dealing with this week and the team being inconsistent. You wanna try giving it a shot and adding 3 on this list? It really isn't all that difficult

5 reasons they will not.

1. Garrett
2. Linehan
3. The D has not faced a pass offense this potent.
4. Away game
5. Lack of turnovers on the D side

However, the OP's reasoning is sound as far as having Elliott and Big Smitty and LVE is a plus but Lord Byron controlling Julio in that stadium is a tall order and he is only 1 of 3 very good WR's and one of the best receiving backs in the game with Coleman. But I can't past my #1 and 2 above.

If the Cowboys win, more of the lamenting over that 1st rounder will die down. He is the only reason I give this team a chance to stay up with an offense like that one or NO or Indy.

As much as we ***** about management, I liked that move when they did it and like it better each week. Now, if the QB can just manage to get the ball to him when he's open, he can have even more effect on the D's.

I liked the trade too, Cooper is a stud, would've preferred a much lower pick though.

Everyone would have except Gruden. But, I do feel he is worth it and every bit as good as any WR they would have spent that on in April. Takes some of the fun out of our draft talk after the season but we can make stuff up about trading back in. I'm good at making stuff up, a lot of us are!

I hate sitting there waiting for them to pick anyway, at least now we don't have to speculate unless Booger pulls a Booger and gives up our 2 and 3 to move back into the first round.

See there, you're already making stuff up, I like it! Making stuff up forward.

That could happen if a needs player drops down far enough that a 2 and 3 would do it. But, we can't talk draft yet, they're still alive for the playoffs. Let's circle back on this Monday.

The Cowboys are beating the Falcons this coming Sunday.

Looking back at the 2017 game, Dallas, well mainly the defense, played well. Especially in the 1st half. Unfortunately, the offense didn't do anything all game and were only able to produce 7 points all game thanks to the defense setting them up with excellent field position after an interception in the 1st quarter. The defense just had nothing left in the 2nd half and the final score was 27-7.

So what is different this year?

#1 Tryone Smith is healthy

Tyrone is back and playing at a high level. He wasnt active in the 2017 game due to injury. Dak missed him greatly. Prescott was sacked 6 times (6!) by Adrian Clayborne, along with 2 other sacks by the Atlanta defense. Chaz Green had an atrocious game at Left Tackle. Chaz is gone and Smith is back playing well. Tyrone Smith will single handedly help the passing and running attacks. Big time.

#2 Zeke will be taking handoffs
Zeke was serving his 6 game suspension when this game came around last year. Although Alfred Morris played good in Zeke's absence, he just wasn't the same threat. Zeke can have a big game against the Atlanta defense.

#3 The LVE Effect
Dallas was only gifted a couple of series with Sean Lee in that 2017 game. He injured his hammy sometime in the 1st quarter. Well Dallas will be without him again this year, BUT, they will have his replacement stomping all over the field. LVE is playing at a very high level already and I doubt the defense is as worried about Lee being out now that this guy is around.

#4 Jones vs. Jones
Byron Jones has played consistently well all year as Cornerback, and I'm betting that he and the rest of an improved Defense, will be able to contain Julio Jones.

#5 Atlanta is banged up
The Falcons will be without a couple of key starters this game. Including Pro Bowl LB Deion Jones and starter Safety Keanu Neal. They will also be without a couple of other players lost to injury earlier in the season due to injury. Their defense can be scored on. The Cleveland Browns just put up 28 on them last week. You read that right. The Browns.

Dallas has this game. They just need to play with that same level of intensity they had Sunday night against the Eagles.

Good call on predicting the win.

I would say that the top reason turned out to be the Cowboys pass rush; although, compared specifically to last year's game, having Tyron over Chaz Green was an obvious requirement.

Vander Esch, Zeke and Byron Jones were all key players also.

I can't have much sympathy for the Falcons missing players considering that they have 3 WRs that would have been the #1 WR for the Cowboys to start this season.
