Garrett lucked out again

I'm not a Garrett fan, but all I care about are wins. If the Cowboys win, I don't dwell on how they almost or could have lost. Its a Garrett-coached Cowboys team, I am sure they will give us actual losses to dissect soon enough.

For now, I will enjoy every win whether we win by 30 points or 1 point.

Sitting on the 45 yard FG again this ******* lucked out. If Maher misses that kick which is very possible and we lose that game that is all we are talking about right now. Don't care for the idiot who comes on here and says "if", cause it didn't happen today doesn't mean it doesn't happen next time. Not saying I don't have confidence in our kicker but you gotta be more aggressive in that situation and if I was the HC or OC I wouldn't be comfortable till the ball was inside the 20.

The long and short of it is that they won today and this is not a well coached team. We will continue to be strung along the rest of the season due to Washington falling apart, Eagles looking like garbage and we're just decent enough to sometimes overcome coaching debauchery to have a look at the division title.

The past means absolutely nothing. They just beat two teams with losing records and got back to back wins for the first time this season. Let that sink in. This team is poorly coached and shouldn't be given a free pass on judgement just because they win a game but hey, the simpletons will let that happen.

Thats the coach of the century... who needs playoff wins when all you need to do to keep your job is finish close to 8-8 or 7-9 every year? It takes too much effort to be good. Why bother doing better when your boss doesn't push you to be better and is satisfied with mediocrity? Wish it was that easy to keep my boss off my butt.

Same thing that happened last year. We got blown out for a few weeks and the heat got on Garrett. So the Cowboys made a supposed playoff run by beating some bad teams and in typical Garrett fashion he blew the Seattle game to knock us out but at least we beat Philly's scrubs in the final so he could have a winning record.

I enjoy the win, I rooted for them to make the FG. I don't let his terrible coaching decisions slide though due to a win because it will cost us in the future. I just hope it doesn't cost us a playoff birth or going deeper into the playoff. I hope that I don't have to come back to this thread to show all why I created a thread like this to begin with.

Why would you point back to this thread and say anything??

I see very few fans supporting Garrett or Linehan on this site. Wins against average teams didn't change that thinking. Whether fans are happy with a win or not is irrelevant to the outcome of any game.

You are acting like fans being happy with a win will somehow impact the future of this team when it has no bearing at all.

There are plenty of "I told you so's" I could have mentioned over the years, but picking one where EVERYONE could say, "I told you so" makes very little sense.
