This whole thread is about his consistency and his 70% completion percentage. We were 9-6 going into the 4th.

If you count the 5 rushing TD as passing TD, and the 3 lost fumbles as INT, rating goes up to 101.3

I absolutely agree with this. I don’t understand the ultra conservatism in the 1st half. They loosened up towards the end of the 2nd qtr and entire 2nd half. The playcalling in the 1st half was what put this team @ 3-5 record. I said this in the game threads, but I’ve noticed Dallas turns the switch on in the 2nd half in the last 3 games. They’re making adjustments and it’s working.

On their furst scripted drive, they had 6 passing plays to 2 running plays until Zeke’s TD. Then Dak sucks when he has to go outside the script.

Then Linehan normally returns with a heavy dosage of Zeke and defenses wear out. We were 9-6 going into the fourth quarter and we got a TD on an LVE INT putting us in scoring ball territory followed by a Zeke TD.

These type of posts are normally subjective, which have no basis in reality.

There is nothing obtuse in it. This whole thread is a Dam slob-fest and you were saying he made throws that had to put the ball in the hands of the WR. That is the context of the “30 yard Dak” comment which I originally responded to.

He made one difficult throw that he hardly ever makes and the other was a basic throw on a beautiful call by Linehan that any NFL QB can make.

So we should ride Dak’s accuracy when he’s throwing passes into the dirt and underthrowing Gallup and not putting it into his hands.

Of course it does. He ‘put the ball in their hands’ on a throw any QB should make, on the perfect play call. He had one really difficult throw while he was sailing duds regularly as well. If he hit Gallup and put it in his hands, with that much time, he could have added yi his yardage total.

So it is ok for a guy like Mahones to throw 4 gimme tds but dak can't, right?

This is called having a weapon. He needs another at TE.

Well, I watched every game and I thought they played better in the 2nd half of all 3 games. Subjective maybe. Call it what you want. And 6 passes vs 2 runs doesn’t mean you’re taking risks and airing it out.

Yes it was. According to PFF, that's just his 4th attempt (and 2nd completion) beyond 20 yards and between the numbers this year.
