I know it's hard to believe, but Garrett is only on the "hot seat" with the fans. His seat is rather cool with the folks that actually make the decisions. Any hoping and praying that we fall flat on our face because that will end the Garrett era are in for a rude awakening, even if we fall flat,, which we won't. Garrett is not going anywhere anytime soon. The team will be prepared. it's up to the players to show up and play.

I don't think so. I felt all along Dallas needed to win 2 out of 3 of the games: NO, PHI, INDY stretch. Dallas could lose against Philly and still be ok. Would put alot of pressure on Indy game.

Yeah this whole extra time off thing? We had an entire week off before the Titans game. We lost our playoff game in 2016 giving the team off. I don't know why people assume this is an advantage.

Not a make or break game. Even if the Cowboys lose (and I son't think they will) they finish with the Colts, Bucs, and Giants while the Eagles get the Rams and Texans next.

So, worst case scenario, the Eagles overtake first in the division Sunday, but fill their name in with pencil.

Exactly. The new CBA limits practices anyway. The only tangible benefit of the extra few days would be to give some injured players more time to recover. From a strategy standpoint byes and these post-Thursday "mini-byes" are overrated.
