Are you referring that gawd awful lollipop balloon that he threw to a seldom-used fullback? Horrible pass.
LOL.

Yes, a horrible pass that hit him in the hands.

Oh lordy...

Dallas is 4-1 against the NFC East, 4-5 outside the division, and 1-3 against the AFC South.

Dallas is 1-4 against teams with winning records and 4-1 against teams with losing records. They are 3-1 against teams that are .500 (Philly and Washington).

Dallas has failed to score more than 2 touchdowns in 11 games.

Dallas has scored touchdowns in 1 quarter of the past 11.

Dallas has scored touchdowns in only 22 of the 56 quarters this season.

All this despite having the leading rusher in the NFL and one of the top defenses.

Never have I seen a team that runs the ball so well, and scores so little.

Man!!! That is UGLY!!! Yuck!

When I watch games every Sunday, one thing stands out to me. The team with the better offensive line wins almost every game. Look at the Colts against the Cowboys. How about the Eagles against the Rams. The Eagles took the Rams DL out of the game basically. Sure Donald got a couple of hits on Foles after the ball was away, but Foles looked like an all-pro because he had all day to throw. The Cowboys didn't sack Luck either. The Colts offensive line handled the Cowboys defensive pressure easily.

The Cowboys offensive problems have been the result of lousy offensive line play all year. Dak has been sacked 51 times in 14 games! That's 3.6 sakcs per game. How many drives ended because of a sack? I will be the first to admit many of them are Dak's fault, but not feeling the pressure does not mean there is no pressure. The offensive line has killed them all year. On top of the sacks, they have 30 offensive holding penalties. That's more than 2 per game and near the top of the league. Even if the offense overcame half of those holding penalties, that's still 15 drives that died in 14 games! 3 drives were killed by 4 holding calls yesterday and another 3 were hurt by sacks.

And the offensive line play has not been all because of the subs. We've seen Tyron Smith get called for holding and give up sacks. He misses blocks in space too. Tyron had 3 holding calls last week and another against the Colts. Maybe its injuries. Looney had 2 yeasterday. Collins has had his share as well. Whatever it is, the poor offensive line play is the reason this offense cannot score in the red zone and has trouble sustaining drives.

Dak get some blame too and so do the receivers who can;t catch TD passes. Dak has been wild. He has been slow to get away from pressure. The receivers had dropped passes in the end zone. But if the OL was any good, the Cowboys would pound the ball into the end zone from inside 10 yards. That's what they did in 2016.

He did miss wide open receivers downfield like he has all season. Your stale arguments for Dak hold no merit. He sucks BAD.
Yes, I am sure they are just running free.

I can't wait to see them all...I am sure they are all legitimate.

Bottom 10 offense in the NFL and we’re gonna have the rushing champ. Maybe our passing game sucks? Just get Dak the f outta here already. He sucks.

Getting Dak outta here is the easy part (if you can convince Jerry, of course). Finding a better replacement, on the other hand, is another matter.

If your response is "anyone would be better" then don't bother replying. If filling the QB spot was that easy everyone would have a franchise QB.

C'mon man.

The OP is a list of facts that cover the entire season with no mention of Dak and you want to turn it into a cat fight about Dak focused on this one game?
Hence why I responded to the poster who was lumping it on Dak.

Stop worshipping Dak for two seconds and be objective about his performance. He sucks!! He’s an inaccurate QB with zero pocket presence. He’s a marginal NFL player at this stage.
I didn't excuse Dak for anything he is doing wrong so don't accuse me of Dak worship. Just understand there is far more going wrong than the coaching and QB play. Focusing on Dak is just too easy.

We have the leading rusher in the NFL! The passing game is the problem! I blame the line for 50% of it but Dak is the other 50%. He can’t pass downfield. He’s terrible at it.

scoring in general but particularly red zone offense is brutal. This team can move the ball between the 20's. Add 32 yards per game and they are top ten in YPG. More going on besides the poor QB play, how come the league leader in rushing can't score TD's. Didn't look like a problem for Mack yesterday. This team gets the red zone figured out and they have the offense fixed.

So in your opinion, the playcaller (Linehan) gets zero blame?

We have an OL of mostly backup players and you think they are only half the problem with the passing game? And you assign no blame to the receivers... wrong again. Dak does need to do better but you are being too harsh on him.

Bad Coaching
Bad Playcalling
Bad QB
Bad Special Teams - Great starting field position is very rare with this team
Bad OL/OL injuries
Bad WR group pre-Cooper
and a team that seems to be OK with kicking FG's
It really is a wonder we are even in the position we are in right now. Below average NFC as a whole helps I guess.

I keep posting that, but I keep getting ridiculed for it. Dak lovers making all kinds of excuses for that.
It has been a pattern he has shown quite often this year. And that was another glaring bit of proof.

He looked so scared on that throw. You don't short-arm a ball to a guy running away from you down the line below his back hip.

It did softly get to Olawale's hands, but fullbacks aren't the most nimble fellows, which is why you put some velocity on a throw like that. It was bad.

so in other words , he should have caught it. You are making excuses for the fullback. Didn't Dak have to throw it over a DE? hence the soft pass
