Are you referring that gawd awful lollipop balloon that he threw to a seldom-used fullback? Horrible pass.
It was a bit short, but a good receiver would have easily caught that. However, as you pointed out, he's a seldom used FB, not a good receiver, so Dak gets some of the blame.

His whole purpose is a receiving FB. That is exactly why he was brought in.

He looked so scared on that throw. You don't short-arm a ball to a guy running away from you down the line below his back hip.

It did softly get to Olawale's hands, but fullbacks aren't the most nimble fellows, which is why you put some velocity on a throw like that. It was bad.
I've been saying this but some on here saying they and their girlfriends could catch that pass but I don't believe it. I'm not saying nobody will ever catch the pass but its hard to catch a pass where your body is moving in one way and ball is short and or the opposite direction. He would've been better off given it more distance instead of short arming it but Dak is always above criticism for some.

Dallas is 4-1 against the NFC East, 4-5 outside the division, and 1-3 against the AFC South.

Dallas is 1-4 against teams with winning records and 4-1 against teams with losing records. They are 3-1 against teams that are .500 (Philly and Washington).

Dallas has failed to score more than 2 touchdowns in 11 games.

Dallas has scored touchdowns in 1 quarter of the past 11.

Dallas has scored touchdowns in only 22 of the 56 quarters this season.

All this despite having the leading rusher in the NFL and one of the top defenses.

Never have I seen a team that runs the ball so well, and scores so little.
yuck

Dallas has a +7 in point differential, the next worst differential of the 12 playoff teams is +64.

I keep posting that, but I keep getting ridiculed for it. Dak lovers making all kinds of excuses for that.
It has been a pattern he has shown quite often this year. And that was another glaring bit of proof.
Painfully guiding the ball instead of instinctively throwing into his chest or over shoulder.

I don't think Dak is above criticism , that was a dropped ball plain and simple. It's not you or I out there catching the ball but a pro athlete that is paid to catch the ball. It tickles me with all the ammunition out there to criticize Dak that some can't call a spade a spade. Couple weeks ago Beasly dropped a perfect pass for a TD , but the narrative is well all receivers drop a ball now and then. The pass to Jarwin that was intercepted was too high , too hard although I've seen a Kelce and Ertz make those plays , Jarwin is neither he's incapable of catching a pass as bad as that. That was all on Dak.

The team that is probably a bit upset right now is the Chargers.
They could go 13-3 and not get a single home field playoff game while so-so 9-7 or even 8-8 teams gleefully host.
:omg:

The script gets flipped on Kansas City if the Chargers win their last two and KC drops one (say at Seattle).
Then KC (after one loss and a final 12-4 record) would drop all the way from the 1st overall seed and home field all the way to the 5th seed and possibly on the road the whole way..
Ouch

so in other words , he should have caught it. You are making excuses for the fullback. Didn't Dak have to throw it over a DE? hence the soft pass

Everybody else on the planet knows that was a bad throw. Dak shot-putted it to Olawale.

So true but I still like the format. Win your division get a home game. Not sure if the Chargers really have a home field regardless of their record.

Watch some sport shows , ask everyone around you, watch the replay I'm sure there is half the planet that would disagree.

I agree about the Chargers lack of true home field.
In their case, it's more about AVOIDING the road game than playing at home....which is huge.

its pretty plain for any one to see with a eye test watching the games the quarter back for the dallas cowboys dak sucks but so does the coaching so he is not totally at fault between those two things this team so not going any where but home for the playoffs or one and done

Well if you don't think Dak is above criticism heck are you responding for to be honest? I didn't call you out and its been many people I've went back and forth on this topic with. As far as not calling a spade a spade talk to them people not me because I mentioned dudes good and bad. That wasn't as catchable of a ball as y'all think. The narrative is always all WR drop a ball because its true just like all qb's throw int its sit the amount of them that normally gets criticized. When Dak was having way more good games than not most gave him a pass but when it start to even out or go over to more bad than good more people are going to criticize. That's nothing new but you seem to be like a lot of twitter people that look for things to make you mad because truth of the matter is its people on both sides of the Dak spectrum so if you can only seem to see criticism that's all you're looking for period.

And he needs stop talking himself out of games.

See Emmitt and Todd Gurley.
He plays a higher percentage of snaps than Gurley. He's second in the league, playing on 88.8% of offensive snaps. Stop this silliness.
