If they were consistently right they would be working in the nfl instead of posting as an anonymous user.

That’s why they try hard on this website.

Wow. So many crucified Dallas for opting for Coop instead of a much cheaper Gordon. Looks like the resident experts were wrong again lol. No lie though Id have loved Gordon as well. Its a damn shame, if he had his life in order and went to the right team he had HOF level talent.

You're assuming that he was smart with his money after the fed, state, income taxes along with agent fees.
Cars, houses and women can drain millions from young athletes.

Hopefully he was.
You are correct.
I typically try to assume the best of people.

He obviously has a real problem. I hope he gets well and can find happiness in life.

$5 Million isnt much when you have an addiction.

Something about red hats and edumacation?

I see public schools did you wonders. Keep up the bad work.

It's really not that much, especially with an addiction. He made 6 Mil over his career and easily half of that was taxed. We also don't know his spending habits. The dude is 27 years old and if he doesn't get it together and get back into this league he will eventually be looking for a job like everyone else.

Let the bum go enjoy his weed. The NFL wont miss him. When he is out of funds he will be begging for another temp gig just to get his next fix.
he's a great generational talent, he will be missed, hes good for the game. Shame he just couldn't get right until the NFL's antiquated rules.

Gordon needs to forget about football. He clearly cannot handle the stresses of playing under the current rules. He needs to get his head right and focus on the rest of his life.

If it's a weed thing, he needs to go to a state where weed is legal and open up a weed shop. Then he can sell it legally, make some money and use it as he pleases.

As for the NFL, he's done.

Take care Josh Gordon.

We wont be seeing him play football ever again.

At least the Browns got a 4th round draft pick for him.

Patriots are the chumps.

How did I know that this was going for turn into a weed debate? It isn’t about whether it’s legal or not or if you think it’s no big deal. It’s about his employer and the rules he has to follow to work for said employer.

NFL players get more chances than most people. Usually your arse is just fired. Guy has a problem.
