No speculation , Greenbay wants to interview him for the head coaching job .

I 'speculate' assistant coaches dream of being 'head coaches' one day ... but hey , maybe its just me and some greed .

There has to be a reason why Richards came here and accepted the secondary coordinator position. Jerry had to have told him that Marinelli is retiring after this season and he would be promoted if things go well.

Richard is Tier 1 head coaching candidate by advisory board. Garrett survives by making the playoffs. So the dream of Richard replacing him is likely dead. Richard will be head coaching another team in 2019 and we’re stuck with the Clapper for another year (or decade). Shoot me now.

I actually believe Richard's likes it here and would rather stay in Dallas and wait on a HC or DC position here.

He said this is his dream opportunity to be with Dallas, and what better way to have a major role with the club than to be patient and wait to head a top position in Dallas.

Richard has already put his mark on this team and has help build this defense to what it is.

No way he leaves all of that just to coach a team that doesnt come close to stacking up in talent.

Let’s enjoy him while he’s here. For however long that is.

He has been a revelation for this team after seemingly two decades of subpar secondary coaching.

How do you even know he wants to be a HC right now? Maybe he doesn't want to. Let's stop speculating.

He was recently asked and said himself that he definitely still wants to be a head coach.

The odds of Richard going from a DB coach to a head coach are.........?

I don't know, but if he does get an offer then I don't see anyway he turns it down even if he gets offered the DC position here.

If there's an opening for a job he wants, I doubt he stays. If he does leave finding a new DC should be a top priority.
