It was more than hand checking.

You can argue whether the play was consequential to the return, but the replay clearly showed a Cowboys player grabbing a Seahawks jersey. It was pretty obvious on replay.

I can’t really say the refs screwed us on that one. We’d have screamed to high heaven if it was reversed and Lockett returned one on us and replay showed a Seahawks player with a fistful of Cowboys jersey.

I thought it was a legitimate hold on the punt return that got called back. The missed pass interferences was bad though

Seahawks are a dirty team and the reputation allows them to get away with a lot of stuff as long as they don't do the egregious stuff. Wright did that against Brown and so the refs had to start calling the less obvious penalties they get away with constantly afterwards

Yep. When Fox came back from break and ran the replay saying they called it on the wrong Cowboy, it was clear a player clearly was grabbing a Seattle jersey.

You can debate if that factored into the return but anytime a red sees someone grabbing a fistful of jersey, it’s likely getting flagged.

Goodson grabbed jersey on the punt return, so the call was actually right, it just wasn't equitable since Seattle was holding worse than that on multiple plays.

Brown was clearly interfered with, which kept him from having a chance to make that catch.

This is true. It was a pretty blatant hold on the punt.
