To those who still claim just any Rb will do, did you watch the enormous effect Zeke had on the game yesterday? Did you notice how he consistently gained yards w/o a hole to run through?

Barkley is a good RB... But he doesn't get those tough yards that Zeke gets. That is why I will take Zeke all day...

I love when he looks for the slightest seam... and lunges forward for 4 yards... He will chip away, taking what they will give him, then break some good ones.

Zeke is a freak of nature! Very hard to stop, when he gets in a groove.

For starters, how do you create in the red zone? What does that even mean? Where is your evidence for such a claim? Post a video of Gurley or Barkley doing it. I doubt you can. Once we’re clear on that I’ll go to the next thing you said

Guess who has just the 30th longest rush attempt amongst players? Zeke. His lack of explosiveness was highlighted this past saturday when he got to the corner on the right side and was easily chased down by three players, a DL, LB, and CB.

Dump offs dont show your receiving acumen. There's no route running involved at all in dump offs. He's not out there like Chris Thompson, Cohen, and Kamara running precise routes he's just catching dump offs.

You dont think RBs can create in red zone? You make opposing players miss tackles or break tackles.

It's those dirty yards fans always claim Zeke gets, yet he doesn't get them in the red zone.


Here's an example of Kamara creating in red zone. There you go was able to do it. Now do it for Zeke. I doubt you can. Especially not in the last half of the season.

Then why reply to my post that was ddiscussing him being the best? I'm not tearing him down, I just wanted to have a civil conversation as to why I don't think he's the best, despute him still being a damn good player.

I just provided data in the post you quoted. I've provided a bunch of data through the entirety of the thread including yards after contact #'s and red zone rushing effeciency.

We dont have one of the worst passing games in the NFL, and Zeke faces 8+ men in the box a league average amount, 24.67% of carries. I've still not gotten a single lick of data back from anyone.
If you want to claim that the offensive scheme is holding Zeke's effeciency #'s back, I would absolutely agree with you
