Rain in the AM, cloudy in the PM, about 50 degrees during game time. This about right? I like the temp and cloudy is ok for me.

People saying there will be more Cowboys fans in attendance. I hope so.

The field, this is the one i am worried about. What's it going to be like from possible heavy rain a few hours before? Will this field be a disaster?

I don't trust Maher on a soggy field.

I'm hoping the rain can hold it off til game time. Bad for passing games means good for us.

Couple of things here. I read some stat by some ticket agency that (according to ticket sales ???) the breakdown would ne 71% Ram fans and 29% Cowboys. Can't confirm this.

I've also read that the problem with night games and field conditions is condensation (dew). Makes for a slippery field. Video from last year's playoff game with Philthy shows a lot of players slipping ... especially Gurley.

Zeke needs traction.

The field is probably covered until a few hours before the game, but it will very likely still be damp.

The players will need their long cleats for this one.

I live out here ya'll and its going to be a COWBOYS Home Game! The Rams will quiver with the noise on their home field. When that stupid announcer shouts over the stadium "who's house?" You will here "COWBOYS HOUSE!" Turn up the volume on your TV, trust me you will hear it. Hahaha

Here is one article that picked this up. 29% Cowboys fans. I think it will be a higher percentage than that. Not sure how they would know that other than geographical location of those buying tickets. Maybe someone smarter than me could explain what they would use to know this.

Dug a little deeper and found this.

The interesting thing here is the methodology used. Vivid Seats seems to track the original purchaser of the tickets, and not the re-sell market. It seems a fair assumption that many of those tickets flagged as local Rams fans will be sold again, since that is how sports events work. And that secondary market is likely flooded by many Californian Cowboys fans who will pay anything to see their team in a playoff game.

For an example, go back and watch the Eagles invasion. It was a far greater ratio than one in every five fans. This could legitimately feel like a Dallas home game.

I think a wet field works against our speedy defense. Our LBs trying to make quick cuts to tackle Gurley could be just what he needs.

Apparently the game is supposed to be 75% Cowboy fans but no one can really explain how. The Rams averaged 70,000+ fans a game, and Rams fans have had nearly two weeks longer to buy tickets to what everyone thought would be Bears/Rams. But apparently the 70,000 plus fans have no desire to go to a Saturday night game to cheer on their 13 win team with one of the best offenses in recent NFL history.
Now the Coliseum can seat over 90,000 so we know there is excess capacity to get some Cowboy fans in there... we’ve seen the similarly sized Jerry World get overran by cheeseheads and terrible towel wavers (in the regular season, important distinction). I just don’t see how the math works to a majority of fans being for Dallas.

Vice Versa...they have to try to stop Zeke n Dak running the ball... advantage DAL.
I thought about that too, but it's not so much the RBs I'm thinking about as the speed of the D working against them. Also, I could be remembering wrong, but I don't recall Zeke being a mudder.

I would argue that if LVE and Smith can't cut as fast, Gurley probably can't either.

It might also impact the shifty receivers, like Cooks and Beasley, but that's a much bigger loss for LA than us.
