I would argue that if LVE and Smith can't cut as fast, Gurley probably can't either.

It might also impact the shifty receivers, like Cooks and Beasley, but that's a much bigger loss for LA than us.
You may be right, but the difference where Gurley vs. our LBs is concerned is he knows when he's going to cut. It's a lot harder to react.

Our weather is changing by the hour. Starting Saturday we are expecting rain all week. We were suppose to get some shower earlier this week and it didn’t happen. The one thing about our weather here is you can never count on what you’re gonna get, or not get.

I don't trust Maher on a soggy field.

I'm hoping the rain can hold it off til game time. Bad for passing games means good for us.

You shouldn't. He is 8 for 12 (75%) when playing outdoors this year, and leads the league in games indoors. Clearly the elements affect his play.

But all in all, I would think that a muddy field in poor conditions benefits the Cowboys. This game is going to come down to running the football and stopping the run, and that plays right into what the Cowboys like to do.

Couple of things here. I read some stat by some ticket agency that (according to ticket sales ???) the breakdown would ne 71% Ram fans and 29% Cowboys. Can't confirm this.

I've also read that the problem with night games and field conditions is condensation (dew). Makes for a slippery field. Video from last year's playoff game with Philthy shows a lot of players slipping ... especially Gurley.

Zeke needs traction.
What the Rams didn't play the Eagles in the playoffs the heck you talking about?

I thought about that too, but it's not so much the RBs I'm thinking about as the speed of the D working against them. Also, I could be remembering wrong, but I don't recall Zeke being a mudder.
Sure he is he got the shoes (tires) for it. Me too, the LAR Defense is light n fast also.

Football on grass? In weather?

The NFL could use more games like that.
Absolutely. I think there was an expression during the 80s and 90s era: "No domes and no fake grass". Isnt the new LA stadium (2020) partially enclosed or covered?

Field conditions are a concern but would think it will be just as big of a concern for the Rams. I don't think a slower field is something that really benefits the Rams.
