That's the thing that blows my mind, to be honest. When I saw this off-season that they had aquired Suh, Peters, and Talib to go along with Donald and Brockers, my first thought was how in the hell does this even happen. the rich get richer and even MORE dangerous. Add to that the fact that Wade Phillips is running the defensive show and I imagined a team that couldn't be beat on either side of the ball. Now, don't get me wrong 13-3 is no slouch of a record but if you would have told me the defense would rank and play as poorly as they have, I would have laughed in your face. Crazy league sometimes.

They look scary on paper but still most teams have found away to score points on them. Linehan needs to have one of his best games and the players need to step up in all facets but I think we win this game!

LMAO, I can't believe we have people in this thread acting like we have anyone on Aaron Donald's level....man, the absurdity of this fanbase. Zeke doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Donald, don't even waste your breath. I love Zack Martin and think he's the best Guard in the league, maybe the best offensive lineman in the league. That being said, Donald will manhandle him. The dude is the best player in the league period, not just best defensive player...no one is doing their job better than Donald. He's also already one of the best defensive players of all time and he's better than JJ Watt ever was. Watch some football outside of the Boys.

I for one am going to be fixated on the line of scrimmage when the Cowboys have the ball ; rarely do you get to see 2 players who are the best at their respective positions go head-to-head , much less in a playoff game.....................

I also believe Dallas will have Looney help double Donald , to try and negate his explosive 1st step......................

Did you board the Troglodyte train today? You said yourself "Zeke is one of the best players in the league". Not THE best player. The word dominance is reserved for THE best, Einstein, not one of the best. Aaron Donald, in fact, is the ONLY dominant player in the entire league at his position. I'm sorry you're too stupid grasp the concept.
I don't know man, what's his name Kaleo Mack over at the bears is right up there with Aaron, maybe not number's wise, but a dang sight closer when you compare apples to apples

There are other RBs in the league that are neck and neck with Zeke (one being in our own division). Any other tries?
If you are referring to Barkley, I will still take Zeke. Barkley cant run between the Tackles like Zeke can.

I agree completely and, if you listen to the media and so-called "experts", Mack is THE dominant force in the game.

Oh, and the Iggles completely neutralized him to the point he had his name called ONCE as I remember. So much for all the "Donald Fear." You can make him a non-factor - it's simply a matter of doing it.

The fact that so much of Donald's accolades are based entirely on sacks is misleading and, while flashy and easily recognized, sacking the QB isn't even a primary duty of a DT. That Donald isn't fulfilling the role of a DT is evident in their worst rushing defense number. Give me 12 sacks and 2.5YPR over 20 sacks from my DT and 5.1YPR any day.

And to add, I would run Zeke and all RPO's right AT Aaron Donald, until he stops them... them I would drop back and drop screens and sideline passes over him.... you can always use a strength to beat itself.

My post said that there wasn't anyone as dominant at their position as Aaron Donald. You've yet to post one. Zeke has peers AT HIS POSITION that are arguably as good. Donald has no such peer. Want to try again?
Zeke has won the rushing title for 2 of the last 3 years and has the most yards per game in all three years he has played. That is pretty daggone dominant!

And, I would agree with you, my friend. My point was that a legitimate case could be argued for someone other than Zeke (I wouldn't necessarily agree with them but a case could be made).

A case can't be made against Donald being the best at his position. It's what makes him the MOST dominant player at his position.

Oh Donald is the most dominant defensive player in the league. Its actually not even close. I also remember we were VERY high on him that draft year.

aike, and Gurly has MORE TD's it's like 22 to 12 damn near double. Yes Zeke on paper is the best RB per his total yards. But, again throw in the # of carries to do so. Again Gurly has LESS carrie's and damn near as many total yds.... it's apples and oranges and I have to side with skin on this one...

Zack Martin vs Aaron Donald is going to be one of the best hat on hat match-ups of the weekend.
Normally I would agree (if Martin were 100%) but the Rams are going to move Donald around and match their strength on the D-line against our weakness (Connor or Sua).

The last time we tilted against the Rams Donald put Martin on skates a few times but Martin held his own.

I'll take a page from the playmaker unless Donald creates a TO that creates points, then Ill take Zeke. According to the playmaker, points wins games and championships...hard to argue with that logic.
