There goes that 7th round comp pick.
Commanders will sign him right before TC, like they picked up Foster. Only for them to never play a down for them.

He can now join a dysfunctional and gone linebacker who couldn't cope but on his on mood's terms...and weed in hand.

Not sorry, just glad he is now gone...rehab is just a concept here.

Sometime, one must just cut bait. Sorry kid...get on government closed food stamps.

you have to help yourself before others can
I doubt that I will read more true words the rest of the year.
To have any faith in Irving now would simply be a gamblers fallacy

Will it be a year this time? Even for only missing the test, and not actually failing. Unless that is yet to come out.

Wonder if they keep his rights for a year to see if he turns it around like Gregory. Or will he be a FA regardless?

Oh well, who cares, time to move on any way it goes.

And Commanders fans will hype him up like they do everyone

I mean, we don't need to be spiteful either. Seems like the guy has real issues. I'm okay with whatever the team does but that doesn't mean I have to be petty.
These angry nerd mob types here want blood.
Hey let’s kick a man who is down.

Real classy bunch around here.

What are we Philadelphia Eagles fans?

These post say more about the overweight middle aged internet toigh guys than it does about David Irving.

Lol.. He isn’t done. JJ will give him another chance. How many did Gregory have?

Everyone was saying same thing about Gregory, and Irving has done more in league. I've never seen a player dominate a quarter like he did that one game last year. He destroyed that RT
Irving doesn't care about football. How many times do we have to put up with this? If the guy was a scrub he would have been gone a long time ago. Sometimes you have to take a stand. The only reason he stayed this long was our defense was bad and he would stabilize it for 4 or 5 games until he was gone again. Enough is enough.

You're right. If he was a JAG, he'd be gone by now (Randall, that undrafted rookie CB from a couple years ago, other examples) , but when you have potential to be an All Pro player, they give you exceptions incase you get your head on straight

A bit misleading. Yes a missed test is considered a "Fail" but he has not been tested and proven to be taking drugs. I would highly doubt it also because being a man trying to get sole custody any thing like that is going to make it hard to win in court.
Failing to show up for a drug test and getting suspended from your job for missing the drug test won't help you win in court either .

2 failed drug tests, not showing up for other drug test, suspended 2 times for failed drug test, going to be suspended again for missing drug test, evicted from home, throwing paper's at a person serving you paper's and people here want to give him credit for fighting for custody of his kid? I don't know how bad the mom is but if she's close to him someone needs to step in and take custody from both of them. Like I said before, I feel bad for the kid.

If he just had issues outside his control, I'd say sure, give him a break. But this guy compares more closely to Purple Drank than he does to Randy Gregory. From everything I've seen, he simply doesn't want to play football. Why does he deserve to reap the rewards the team earns?[/QUOTE]

Time to cut ties and open up a roster spot, for a player who wants to play in the NFL and for the Cowboys.
