what does a db coach even do? give high fives after a play? the loss won't be felt unless he was secretly our dc calling plays.

He wouldn't be a DB coach.

Besides, who really cares about titles?

I have a sneaking suspicion Richard is about to be one of the highest paid coaches in the league, if not the highest.

$7-11 million range.

And . . . he stays in Dallas, is my bet.

Not act like a db, for starters.

Richard was always the DC in waiting, but he has the title of "Passing Game Coordinator" in addition to Defensive Backs Coach. He was initially setting the nickel/dime/prevent packages but eventually was making all defensive calls as the season went on.

If Dallas wins 38-0 and there are still folks here ruing the head coach, I would feel sorry for each and every one of them.

He's done well so far this year.

Amazing what talent does for you.

McClay has done an outstanding job, too, though. And Jerry last 4-5 years..

You can't deny that.

Accumulatively, they've gotten to this point.

I like their willingness to put titles aside and work as a team.

Kris has not been offered a job with anyone. Miami are still interviewing candidates after they interviewed Kris. Obviously they were not blown away. Just saying

Not what that means. In fact we have all seen reports on the contrary. The Dolphins are just doing their due diligence in finding their next coach for a change.

Miami actually made the right move- hire a coach from a team you need to beat twice every year.

Now the Cowboys have to make sure Richard doesn't go anywhere. Pay the man.
