If you dont know the answer to this, I actually woner where youve been the last decade.
Google Crayton and 2007 playoffs and the video will wak you through it.
3rd down

3rd and 14 he dropped it with about a minute left in the 3rd qtr. yes I remember, he screwed us out of that game.

Romo still threw a ball that didn’t have a chance, but he also didn’t really have a choice.

Yeah, that too.
Im referring to the next to last play of the game

actually 21 seconds, not 17 that I had said.

I'll post the video

If Romo, Dez, Witten, Murray, Beasley and that offense a few years ago had this defense, Dallas would have won a Super bowl.

Murray was not Zeke, but he had a monster year. That oline (like in 2016) was so dominant.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was only team in NFL history that BOTH
1)the league's leading rusher and
2)the league's leader in QB passer rating.

If you click the article, he actually does say we CAN win the Super Bowl if the defense does their part, in his own words.

Tony cannot win a Super Bowl. 10 years of starting has shown that. He’s just a cheap imitation of Brett farve.

I wish people would stop pushing the false narrative that Romo never had good defenses going into the playoffs.
He had the 9th ranked defense in 2009, the same defense that allowed the Vikings 34 points in the divisional round. The defenses here under wade Phillips under performed dramatically regardless of the talent on paper. Also the 2012-2013 defenses were some of the historically worst defenses in the league. In 2014, the biggest star we had on defense was Orlando scandrick.

Good post. At the very least, I would *hope* Romo's most ardent critics would extend him a small measure of respect for how he would call the game in the fair matter he has established in his young broadcasting career.

From what I hear everyone likes Tonys commentary in the booth even my friends who are all Eagle fans . I try to watch anything he is covering to me he gives the best analysis . I would defiantly cut him some slack if he had to do the Boys in the big game as it would be difficult for him being pretty fresh of the field

How dare Romo not mention us. That hurts my easily hurt feelings. *wipes tears from face*

I read this whole thread.

People are strange... and funny.

There's someone in here claiming Romo was selfish... that he was only about the money.
The irony is that this zone member happens to love Deion Sanders and pays homage to
him in his avatar.

It just made me laugh. Deion took so much money that Stephen and Jerry almost threw hands.
Hell, the Commanders may still be paying him... lol.

I'd rather do it and they not expect it, than to expect it and not do it.

We've been in the #1 seed position (the favorite) and failed the last two times. This team is better suited for an underdog role. Us against the world, even Romo and Aikman. (not Irvin)

Off-topic. Your username is Htown-Cowboy. 'Htown' makes me think of Houston. And THAT makes me wonder how Texans fans feel about Dallas advancing further into the playoffs than Houston. :muttley:

Although Dallas has a large Houston-based contingent of fans, the vast majority of Houstonians (especially the radio sports-talk jocks) pretty much HATE the Boys. Their envy is way obvious.

Sucks for them. So, suck it Houston anti-Cowboys jerks!

Because when he was under center in years they looked hot, the defense always collapsed in the playoffs.
