Had to go up to the local hospital to harvest corneas from a donor that day. Walked into the ER the RN said “we have a few doctors that want to watch” I get into the room 7 or 8 Doctors walk in and greet me. I say “I will be as quick as possible the Cowboys are kicking off in a hour”. Crazy it was that long ago.

My son was an eye bank technician a little over a decade ago in San Antonio. Kudos for what you do -- it might very well save some lucky recipient's eyesight as a result of your efforts . . . a noble effort, indeed!

I appreciate that!! I coordinated and teched for 3 years. I was 21 when I got the job. I’m kinda surprised or shocked reading your response. It’s weird in a way to explain what I took from all that while working there but I am going to be a dentist because I went through all of the ups and downs that molded me at that young of an age

Aikman’s arm talent was elite. All-time elite. Anyone who says otherwise simply doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
It wasn’t elite like Farve or Steve McNair or even Micheal Vick. Those guys could flick that rock.

Troys is just good.

I had been meaning to say to those that are worried about Williams started that Sua'Filo has not been a better pass blocker. The main area where Sua'Filo has been better from what I can see is with his point-of-attack run blocking. In pass blocking, Sua'Filo has a tendency to overextend, which allows his man to get quickly into the backfield. Williams plays with better pass-blocking technique that usually allows him in general to more slowly get shoved back into the quarterback.

He didn’t have the cannon Favre and Vick had. But he had a strong arm and, more importantly, could put the ball in tight windows. He was, in his day, regarded as maybe the most accurate passer of all time. Arm talent is more than just having a.gun.

Aikman was a sniper and Vick/farve were rpgs. I’d take farve any day tho

As if you couldnt top your usual....
Any body with half a brain would tell you aikman isn’t on farve or McNairs level.

Give them Dallas’s O-Line and emmit Cowboys win 5 straight. Troy Aikman was not as gifted as those two.

There is a reason he couldn’t win anything without emmit. Troy had 4 years he threw more interceptions than touchdowns and 2 more he almost did. That’s awful.
