Deion Sanders had advice for the Cowboys defense

I remember a colts chiefs playoff game about a decade ago. Chiefs ran the ball great (pretty sure it was the Larry Johnson days) Colts had a poor run D. Most people said chiefs would run all over them. Colts ended up stuffing the run and winning the game.

It seems like when something is a virtual certainty (like Zeke running wild on a porous run defense), the opposite tends to happen a good share of the time. Maybe the other side gets tired of hearing about how bad they are at something.

I think the rams make sure they stop Zeke. Eight man boxes or just being more focused and disciplined (they have the talent). I hope I'm wrong, but I think they will hold Zeke in check. We will definitely need Dak to make some plays.

Just a random thought I had. Hopefully I'm very wrong.

Deion's guide to defense ...

1) If the guy running at you is bigger than you, either duck or jump out of the way.
2) If you are chasing the guy, put a hand on him but be sure to let another player tackle him.
3) When the other team only throws your way 3 times per game, act like you are the best ever.
That's all true but he made alot of pick 6s

I have advice for Deion...

****!

I met him during SB LI week and I had my Cowboys stuff on. He wouldn’t acknowledge that he ever played for the Cowboys.

Hopefully cooper gets going early. That seems to open up things

When I've heard deion talk it sounded like he loves all the teams he has played on but it did sound like he loves Jerry Jones the best out of the owners. He obviously loves being in Dallas as well. I think he is unbiased

Yeah, I like I really care about advice on Defense from Deion. How many teams hired him as a DC or secondary coach?

Deion is a Cowboy, but he needs to grow up. I had lunch with him a few years ago and he gave me an autographed football that I did not ask for, I gave away. That should tell you what I think of Deion and his opinions.
I consider him a part time Cowboy.

The only way Zeke gets 35 touches is if we have success running the ball, no success and you will be punting all day.

People don’t seem to get this. They think if you just hand the ball off or throw it to him, then you’ll win. It’s not causation, it’s correlation.

If you are blocking well and are able to convert third downs ( usually by throwing the ball ), then that means you are keeping the ball longer and are able to give Zeke his touches. You have to do a lot of things right, including running the ball, to allow Zeke to make an impact.

I met him in Orlando back in '96.

He showed up along with the DCC for a rally at Disney World after the SB.

I was assisting the making of a fitness video for the team.

He was flashy as expected and had an entourage with him.

He was nice to me as I took pics but he was more detached and did not want to be bothered.

My impression was great athlete but he only lights up when the cameras are around.

I'm more man that you'll ever be! You get any questions, PM me you freaking dweeb!
Lol! Dont come on here acting tough. You were smiling in the man’s face, probably even thanked him for the signed football that you never asked for and then you going to come on a message board to say the things you didnt have the gall to say in person. Thats chump behavior.

You gave up your spare time to have lunch with him. But you give a damn about his opinions and gave the ball away ?

Makes sense.

Run the ball, pressure Goff, stop Gurley, block Donald.

Hopefully the passing game has a lot of designed rollouts and 3 step drops to get the ball out quick or to get Dak out of the pocket because I do not see the line holding up against Donald for the time it normally takes him to get the ball out.

Keep the Ram offense off the field for as long as possible. They have not played for 2 weeks and if they can't get on the field, they may get real cold feet.

Let's see D. Sanders manning one side of the field and locking it down and L. Brown on the other. Yes no SB without him I guarantee that.

Lol... I didn't dislike him back then, but he really ticked me off with the way he went off on Romo last year.
