Even if we lose, this season has been fun. When we were sitting at 3-5 coming off a blowout loss at home to the Titans, things looked pretty bleak. If you did a poll back then, I imagine dam near everybody on this board would have said this team was done. Considering no Cowboys team in franchise history had ever started the season 3-5 and advanced to the playoffs, nobody could have imagined the run we went on.

Cowboys went on to win 7 of their next 8 games, including a wildcard win over Seattle. Even if the season ends tomorrow in LA, it was honestly a very fun and exciting season.

Just wanted to say this before the game tomorrow and a million new threads are made either celebrating a win or demanding heads on a platter for a loss. Hopefully its the former and not the latter, LOL.

I agree completely. I was more nervous last week because it was the Seahawks and I wanted to break the Playoff curse of the old regime of players that started with the bobbled snap and ended with the Dez no catch. I think this team dug itself out of the hole when they were 3-5 and put together a winning season and a playoff win. We exorcised a lot of demons this season. Regardless of tomorrow's victory (or defeat) this season has been wonderful because there's a lot of hope for the future. Here's what I am taking away from this season if it ends tomorrow.
1. We have a solid group of very talented players that are young and hungry and can win in the playoffs.

2. I have a different view of Garrett. What he's done this year has changed my mind about him. He's a good coach. To not lose the locker room at 3-5 and put together 7 of 8 to finish the year and a playoff victory is good coaching. His X's and O'x may not be the best but he's a leader and the guys will play hard for him and they believe in him.

3. Jerry actually may be a good GM. Yes I said it, Lol. But Jerry saved the season with the Cooper trade which at the time I was so mad about that trade. but Jerry saved the season. So for all the times I felt like he ruins the season and complained, I got to hand it to him that he saved us this year. I have some faith in Jerry the GM after this year. that's encouraging moving forward.

4. Dak Prescott, Dak Prescott, Dak Prescott!!!!!! This year he became the face of the Cowboys and it's his team now and Dak is a winner. Same thing with Garrett, Dak lead the team on the field out of a 3-5 slump and into the playoffs. They players believe in him on both sides of the ball. Say what you want about him but it's hard to argue against he's a winner and he's clutch. Again moving forward that's encouraging.

The ups and downs early in the season made it hard to envision a play off win. But the emergence of these young guys on the defense and offense has me amazed. Its amazing what happens when you draft players from winning programs in college. You can see it in Zeke, he just wants to dominate. Im a believer in this team and i think tomorrow we will shock the world.

You think this season is over? HELLO! #9 isn’t under center:eek:
I notice you allude critically to Romo damn near every chance you get. Why not move on and appreciate Dak on his own merits? Romo was a warrior and bleed for this team. And now Dak is killing it magnificently. They both play/played for the same team. They both gave and are giving there all.

A agree, except I will feel it was a missed opportunity if we lose in any other fashion than playing lights out. Because while we could not quite have predicted the extent of the impact getting Cooper would have. The fact is, that if you remove the 6 games Zeke missed last year due to the bogus suspension. And the 7 games this years we played with no replacement for Dez. If you remove those 13 games, and add up the remaining win loss record, then you can see we have been elite all of these last three seasons. So from that perspective, this is a seasoned football team. A defense that has risen to a frighteningly good level. Zeke and Dak, no longer inexperienced, etc. I would argue, that we SHOULD be in this position to be playing for a super bowl this year. The early 90's team (the greatest team in NFL history in my opinion), was only at the very top for 5 years. Magic in a bottle does not come around very often, nor last very long.

Thought we were dead in the water man... I was telling my buddy who is a Skins fan (puke) the same thing. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow it was a fun season that had lots of drama. But it’s been awesome watching this team fight and have fun together.

I'm not ready to speak of this season in the past tense. The Cowboys have exceeded our expectations. Yes, this season is already a success IMO, but let's keep it going. It's so great to be in the thick of things. Let's gooooooooooooo!!!

I was the same way as in this season was over after that loss to the Titans. Finished.

Then the oline coaching change and the arrival of Cooper happened.

What a great season it has turned out to be! This team shut up haters for me and its been a joy to behold!

Put him on ignore. I did. He's a troll, neither a Cowboys fan or even a Dak fan. He just obsessively hates Romo and hijacks every thread

I feel like the game in Carolina was yesterday. Cowboys fan taking over the hotel I stayed at. Great experience despite the actual game

Me either. We’re going to win this week. Postpone the gloom and doom until the Saints game please.

This season has been a wild ride. Preseason gave great expectations. Then the season started out with a dud. After losing to the Titans, many of us, myself included, thought Garrett had lost the team. Then came the hot streak which included shutting down the mighty Saints. Here we are in the playoffs feeling good about our chances.

This will be remembered as the Rolaids season.

This season has been GREAT! a real nail biter! This whole Cowboys team has gotten better and as much as I wanted Garrett gone im not sure his process hasnt kicked in with the right players. I do think a few changes could be made to the coaching staff though. And Dak has given me hope! I have seen some good things out of the passing game that I hadnt seen out of him since he has been the starter.
GO COWBOYS!!!

It has been a great and fun season, I'm not ready for it to end.

Same can be said for us. But one of us is done after today, and I hope y’all get beat down.

What you guys and the Seahawks did this year was pretty dope. Starting where you did and ending (today for you) where you did. Impressive.

Suck it. It's time for a Jeff Fisher relapse...hahahaha.

I think there is more pressure on Goff & Co, than the Cowboys. While, many will call the Cowboys season a success even with a loss tonight, I won't. For me it'll take a win today. At that point, this Cowboys team will have done something not done in 20+ yrs, make it to a Championship game. THAT will be a successful season. THAT will be a defining moment for this team. THAT will be turning the corner. Regardless of everything it took getting to this moment, anything short of victory today, & we are still at the same plateau we've been stuck on for a couple decades.

Too much has to go right for a long time, just to be in the position we're in today. Now is the time, now is the moment. Seize it. This Rams team, reminds me a lot of our 2007 team. I hope the result is the same
