I’m eating during the colts game I can’t eat when Dallas plays

We usually eat before the game and eat what ever is left at half time. Today we will eat around 6:30 by half time everyone will want something besides beer and liquor

Really simple actually. Wrap 2 strips of bacon around raw onion slice of onion. Make the slices a little thicker and wider to make it easier to wrap the bacon. Typically I'd cook them on the bbq at 220˚ for 20-25 min but it is too damn cold outside. I will bake them same temp and time, then glaze them with a mixture of sriracha, bbq sauce and lime juice and then broil them for a couple of minutes to get them a touch crispy. They are great as apps or to top off a burger

Unfortunately my menu is going to consist of trash topped off with non alcoholic beverages because I've been called in to plow snow at 6PM!

Luckily for me the threat has passed and there is only a 15% chance of some dusting throughout the night. But that chance starts at 8pm. My best case scenario is going to be watching this game on the phone in a snow plow dump truck idling all night pre positioned in case it snows. Oh yeah, and eating trash.

Got up at 3:30 to fire up the smoker.

Got a pork butt for pulled pork sandwiches, chuck roast for pulled beef sandwiches, another pork butt for poor man’s burnt ends. Kids wanted to smoke something, so that’s what I went with. No idea what their mother is going to add to it as sides. Ill find out soon enough, I suppose.
