Another Angle on Kris Richard?

I think some of them just want to keep him using any method possible for what he's done to help the defense. Now, some of the defensive improvement comes from finally building it with some good picks in the draft, but he did turn the secondary around rather quickly.

With the way the Offense is currently geared, a good defense is necessary, so maybe they think keeping Richard is necessary too.

I do want to keep Richard, but I'm not so sure he'd be qualified to be HC.

If the rumor of moving Garrett to GM and Richard as HC is true..

can that succeed?

Is this another rumor started by a fan? I've not hear a single peep from Jerry or Stephan that they are considering Garrett as a GM. I just don't see Jerry giving up that title and job.

I do want to keep Richard, but I'm not so sure he'd be qualified to be HC.

I think the plan is that he's the next HC in training when they decide to move Garrett to the front office. (probably if they win a SB or two soon so Jerry can prove that he finally did it and now can go yachting in peace)

Look at the rosters we have had, it was like an all-star baseball team yet with football

Its funny how the blame shifts. How can we slam the front office in one breath and in the next talk about how star studded our roster is/was? Then we can eviscerate our head coach but go on to crap all over the qb, or vice versa. You know because no HC can succeed without a qb....or qb without a hc.

Im NOT saying this is your opinion so please dont take offense. Its just an amusing observation Ive made while here at the zone. I think its ridiculous how we as fans look at things in a vacuum.

Here's more proof that your big rumor of Garrett getting moved to GM and Richard as new head coach was nothing more than a rumor started by a fan who is probably a Garrett hater because I just read an article that said that Jerry has said Garrett will be extended after the Cowboys are finished playing and that he will be the Cowboys coach for a long time to come.

Usually with a all star roster you should be able to build and maintain a lead.

I remember a year when the skins signed 3 or 4 of the best free agent defensive players like Bruce Smith and everyone thought they were going to have the best defense in the league but at the end of the season they only ranked 19th. They proved that even if you have the best talent, unless they can play together as a team, it's only paying some a lot of money.
