I wasn’t the only one a couple hours ago. You guys yo-yo around on the head coach enough to give me whiplash. Really you just want to win, but you’re not capable of diagnosing the reasons we lose so you go reflexively to “fire the coach” “change the QB.“

Why would I be quiet about that?!?
I haven’t liked Garrett for 5 or so years. You love Garrett for some reason, but we will never win a Super Bowl with him. To many good teams and coaches to get past. Garrett over looks to many important details. Go back and watch when Zek got stuffed on 4th and 1. The QB sneak is the easiest play to execute in that situation and it was wide open. A smart coach would have told Dak to change the play at the LOS if you see this defensive alignment. Brady would QB sneak against this alignment every time.

No one would want the job if you fire a guy after winning a playoff game. If we were going to fire him last year was to do it, not this year.
I don't believe we would have a problem in finding possible candidates for HC. This is America's Team.

Ginger wasn’t the problem tonight. He played to win (with the exception of not kicking the onside kick). Took chances and some paid off. Everything was left on the field. Can’t do much when you can’t stop the run.
I actually agree with not kicking the onside kick. 8% chance just isn't high enough. The rules have basically killed the onside kick, which will probably be fixed again next year in another stupid way. We had better than an 8% chance of stopping them, we just didn't do it.

If Jerry wasn't the Owner/GM maybe, but who would want the position with him as the GM without job security.

So l linehan doesnt get any blame?

I agree Garrett is a pretty average coach, who will be as good as his coordinators now him to be.

Who said Linehan doesn’t get blame?

But people are using him as the scapegoat.

Garrett is as standard and basic at it gets.

He’s a default coach.

We’re stuck with him though because our ownership doesn’t value gameday coaches.
I agree that Garrett is an average head coach. Hes not the great Xs and Os guy like the trendy HC hires we see. I do think that hes learned to be aggressive, manage games, and motivate his players. Get his top notch coordinators, and you can still win. What I dont think you can do is win with linehan as your OC next year. That's why I'm much more on the fire linehan bandwagon.

That's where Romo succeeded, he just ignored Garrett and changed it when he needed to. He could read the situation a thousand times better than Garrett and Linehan.

Garrett doesn't play defense.
But Richard does and many here want him to take over.

I wouldn't mind Garrett being fired, but after tonight's defensive performance, I'm not sure Richard is the answer to even be DC. He got killed by a team he is very familiar with from his days in Seattle.
