In the Superbowl won over Seattle that season it wasn't so much Big Ben but his team's defense with a big pick-six and one very long TD run from a RB. Roethlisberger was pretty pedestrian the way I recall it. And he wasn't much better in his second Superbowl win, either. Over-rated in two championship victories. His supporting cast was great.

I didn't see that coming after the amazing job they did vs the run last week.

What happened?

We played a much better team on the road. Five of our six losses were on the road. Plus this was the divisional round of the playoffs and we haven’t played well in the divisional round since the mid 90s.

Chidobe Awuzie had an INT go right through his hands, that kind of play could've changed this entire game. I don't like cornerbacks that can't catch and never have.

He was terrible. He had like 123 yds passing and 2 picks w/ no TD's that game

so much of the Cowboys' success in the second half of the season can be attributed to their defense - they were pretty much asked to hold all opponents under twenty points! I think the pressure word them down.

Hopefully, the Cowboys can get their OL back up to the roadgraders they had been recently. It would make a huge difference. Get back to that run game being an overwhelming force. It takes pressure off Dak AND the defense.

Defense choked...

Rams dared Linehan and Garrett to use DAK to beat them and they did not
trust DAK so they kept feeding Zeke into a brick wall....end result=loss

Bottom line our defense got us knocked out of the playoffs again. What else is new! The one side of the ball we hung our hats on all season ended up being our downfall.
