About a thousand times, it's my backyard. Spring is a beautiful time of year to go especially after the rain we had in 2018. You will not however be able to avoid crowds. Even as large as the park is it gets really crowded. Take your passport and head over to Boquillas one day for beer and tacos. They'll paddle you across the river and you can take the short burro ride to town. It's a blast after hiking all day. Also make sure you do a day hike to the South Rim in the Chisos Mountains. You can climb Emory Peak there and be on the second highest point in Texas.

Big Bend National Park is awesome! Definitely a place to visit in Texas!

Don't go in in the Summer, especially in August. A canuck won't survive long in that climate

Nope...still have it but.. a trip to Colorado exposed the pitfalls of traveling on an 11 year old bike at the time.
