His arm may be a smidge better than Russell’s. although Russell also has a cannon. But Russell was also a far more experienced and developed QB coming out of college, than Murray is now.

In my opinion.
No doubt about that. As you can see, I'm an OU fan and would really like to see him do well in the NFL. But he is small, for sure.

He does have blazing speed though. It will be interesting at the combine to see how he does in the 40. Him and Brown.

For sure. I don’t dislike Murray myself. I just think he might be better off playing baseball. He could potentially be a future all star in baseball also. And that’s more lucrative than QB in the NFL with much less physical risk.

If Murray drops to second round (he won't) then he won't play football. His bonus from baseball would be far greater than a 2nd round pick would get. Really fact is that if he drops lower than 20 in the 1st round, he more than likely opts for baseball and not football.

listed at 5'11" so that prob means he is more like 5'9" or 5'10"....too small IMO - he would see over the line - would Dallas use his legs and keep him moving? they have never done that even though they HAVE a mobile QB that is large

and suggesting a different position? no....they can't use the guys they have now (go-go gadget Austin!)

Murray definitely isn’t more pro ready than Wilson out of college.

he set the rookie TD record.

I’d take Wilson 10/10 times over Murray anyway.

LOL No thank you.

The guy is a huge risk.

He's small.

He still hasn't chosen baseball or football. You can't play QB and and Baseball. Sorry.

He played 1 season of College football and produced in a conference on a team with more talent then everyone else and absolutely no defenses.

He was shut down against Alabama until they were up 28-0 and he just started naturally producing because of the situation.

Also, his interview is just awful. I've never seen a championship QB speak like that.

He checks all the boxes for a bust.

Probability is low for 5-10 QBs to make it.

Athletic QBs that are not the brightest bulb in the box (RG3, Tebow) often fail.

Appears far behind in maturity compared to many QBs over the years that turned out to be good in the NFL.

Wilson and Brees were very impressive from a maturity and intelligence perspective when they entered the draft.

Terrelle Pryor had prototype size but couldn't make it as a QB.

Dude is soft spoken and this was his first year playing for a large program. If anything he should have stayed in college another year. I do think he is looking for the largest check.

No I wouldn't. He would be a waste of a draft pick. If he comes to the NFL, they will try and turn him into a WR. If he's smart, and I've never viewed him as stupid, he will become a star in MLB.
He didn’t turn down a baseball contract to be a WR...

I think most say he is a 4.45-4.50 guy...though he claimed to once run an unofficial sub 4.4.

fwiw, Baker Mayfield claims Murray will run a 4.2 at the combine:lmao2:
Now THAT would qualify as blazing fast.
I think (or hope) he meant 4.42--which would be great. 4.20 ain't happenin'
