Jerry seized complete control of football operations after Jimmy left. They won a SB in 1995 with the team Jerry and Jimmy built.

Since then, when Jerry has had sole control of trades, FA, draft, personnel, coaching, etc. they have 6 playoffs wins in 23 years.

In what freaking world is that a successful run? We aren't talking a down 5-6 year period. We are talking about a 23 year run where the Cowboys have performed in the bottom third of the league. LOL.

Well considering we won 3 SBs at the beginning of the 30 year run, probably not many - NE for sure, maybe Pittsburgh.

But I'd trade the Cowboys for a ton of teams since Jerry started making all the decisions himself because over that period, there have been a lot of teams that have been more successful on the field than Dallas.

It's been an OK run. In comparison to the last 23 years, it looks great but in the overall scope, it's been just adequate from a franchise that considers itself one of the truly elite in the NFL.
