or chasing skirt...I’ll never forget the time he was out there in pre game throwing the ball to his receivers with Jessica or Carrie by his side on the field chatting away. How that was even allowed I don’t know. I can’t remember what game it was but I believe it was one of his lesser performances.
So right. I remember all of the cowboys fanbase wanted to ban Jessica Simpson from every game.

It means, I don't think with three extra days a week, will the current QB of the Cowboys reach the level of QB play Romo achieved, even resting on wednesday. It's not that Dak doesn't put in the time or the effort. He is just physically limited as a thrower.

I completely understand how many of Dak's followers refuse to acknowledge this and believe somehow he's going to grow into the ultimate defense reading anticipatory throwing QB the Cowboys deserve. But it ain't going to happen. He still, three years in, displays abysmal footwork. Basic 3 step drop and deliver and he has to throw it stepping backwards. How, after so much time, coaching, training and film study does it take to just fix that one thing?

Let me guess, Garrett's fault, right?
Lol what level of play was that?

LOL, I completely forgot about that. I bet Jerry wanted her gone too, she got more air time in the suite with her Romo jersey on than he did. It was pretty nauseating.

.Starting to get into some outerwordly level bone-headed stuff now.
"Pre" Pre-game time when all sorts of players have kids and people on the field, but hey, one game Romo did it 11 years ago and it caused him to play poorly.
Guys all around the league do this all the time. This was literally hours before the game. Anyway, that was brief time.. The dude was engaged (2009) or married with kids the majority of years that he started. Somehow those months with Simpson always define him though, with the real loonies

Let's see, Romo as a starter
never once seen out partying hard or drunk.
8-9 years....with Candace, dating, engaged or married with kids.
18 mos….with Simpson--who said he was a home-body, not a partier
1 week or two with Underwood, but they both say it was nothing

Yeah, a real player

I’m only contributing to the threads already there. What’s pointless is starting new threads (especially about non football related subjects such as this one) about a guy who has NOTHING to do with the Cowboys anymore.

If people are going to bring up how great he allegedly was every week without mentioning his faults and why most people here were bashing him until late in his career, then what’s wrong with keeping things in perspective?

How about I start a few threads a week highlighting his failures just as a reminder of why people wanted him gone for so many years? Or would that be dumb and pointless since he has NOTHING to do with the current Cowboys?

I wish the MOD’s would make a separate Romo forum where all the fans who want to live in the past and fantasy world by ignoring Romo’s failures can go to stroke each other while they shed tears over the “good ole days”. They can talk about how he’s the best announcer ever and will always be the best, how much better he is than Dak, how he figured out how to walk on water, how all his past failures have been magically erased from several fans minds, how he’s more relevant than current Cowboys players, how he developed his own internet cult through said mind control, how perfect each and every one of his bowel movements are...
You are free to start all the the threads you like. I'm guessing many who start a lot of threads here list themselves as authors on their resume. Or employees of the dallas cowboys. It astounds me how seriously some take these threads. Even moreso how seriously they take themselves.

That’s part of the point, I’m not “that obsessed”, lol. I’ve started one thread with Romo undertones but he wasn’t even in the title and it was more mockery of those you can’t let go of the past than anything.

I definitely don’t take myself that seriously, at least not enough to not admit my faults :)

I'd like him more if he was a "player". I saw Romo as a cornball with minimal swag. Same way i look at Dak tbh. Which is kind of weird considering our Owner is out trickin on his party bus with hookers.
