1. When Romo went out what did people say about Garrett? "Great coaches win despite losing top players" So yes he's supposed to win WITH THE TALENT HE HAS. And talent is spread pretty evenly throughout the NFL, even with limited talent, 5-11 for 3 years in a row is pretty bad. I didn't say I just winning games and division titles and playoff games is what I judge Garrett by, it's what coaches are judged by by most.

2. And Garrett is "horrid"? Then what was Rich Kotite, 40-56 over 6 years? How about Hue Jackson, 11-44. Gus Bradley, 14-48. Romeo Crennel, 28-55. THOSE guys are "horrid".
Garrett is mediocre, no question, but if he's "horrid", I guess you'd rather have Campo and go 5-11 year after year? I'd rather have a Belichick or a Landry or a Tomlin, even. But compared to some, he's not.

Garrett played in the NFL for a few years and has now 9 years as head coach, nobody in the league that long "has no clue" That's ridiculous, has any NFL ex-player said that about Garrett? Even with giving respect to somebody who played the game, if that was the case surely a few would have said that publicly.

Look I want Garrett gone, too. And I'm not a Garrett fan, and don't think of him as anything but average at best as an NFL head coach, probably below average.

But hyperbole is not needed to express your opinion...

There is NOTHING you could drum up that could EVER convince me that Garrett is a good coach. I have watched the horror show that is Garrett for 12 years as OC and HC.

I would take Campo, Wade, ANY of the other coaches in Dallas over Garrett. His football knowledge, in game management, gameplanning, scheme, risk taking, creativity is as bad as I have EVER seen it in a HC.

He has been here for a decade and NEVER got past the divisional round of the playoffs. And this with plenty of talent and franchise QB's the entire time.

Never said you said he was a good coach. Anything you say good about Garrett goes in one ear and out the other. Whether he is good at some little things matters not over his big failures as any kind of football mind. The notion that he was some Princeton genius, offensive guru has been proved dead wrong. He actually faked his way through college and is now doing it in the NFL.

And NO I am not claiming you said he was a great football mind. But you have been sticking up for Garrett now for several posts. No one in their right mind would stick up for Garrett. No devoted Cowboys fan. And below average is another way of saying "he sucks".

has he made mistakes? yes. but this past year he did pretty good managing games and get us from 3-5 to 10-6....not enough. I want more and that's fine, but its very childish and immature the claims you make....I mean God do you remember Chip Kelly, the supposed God of football, he sucked in Philly. he sucked in SF and he is out of NFL.....
