Watch other coaches and see their level of engagement compared to Garret's - it's embarrassing. Garret is a coach in name only. He's a fraud.

He is a total and complete fraud. When the owner and your biggest supporter brings in a one year QB coach to call plays and take over a job you should be doing, what does that say about you? Pathetic really.

He used to call plays and doesnt anymore. Because he was horrid at it.

But I give you the floor AGAIN. In all your infinite wisdom, what does Garrett do besides sit there and clap?

He has a play sheet, but never looks at it. He doesnt go around talking to players. I have seen him throw a red flag. What else does he do? Waiting..................................

So you making up up things . He didnt call plays because they wanted him to manage more of the team. How do you know what he looks at? You only see very little on tv. He has a headset, any thing he needs to say can be said through the headset. He runs the practices, manages the players, manages all the coaches, deal with all the teams everyday issues. Don't talk foolish. Go watch all or nothing .

So Garrett should be calling plays? Is that your point? Does Carroll? Or Nagy?

He does what every coach that doesn't call plays. It's ignorant to think all he does is stand on the sidelines and claps.
So do 90% of coaches in NFL. They are figure heads.

You have to understand that cowboyroynis an irrational Garrett hater....

You're a fake....lol
All coaches clap
That is not the point. It is that he claps because he thinks that is what coaches do.

So, once more, when has Garrett schooled anyone ala Belichick?

I will wait patiently for your answer.

And you now know what he thinks or why he claps..lol
Get out of here.
I'll play your foolish game
Payton, Pederson 2x, Carroll (playoffs) all schooled by Garrett.
None of that matter, you don't have to school anyone to clap. As I said all coaches clap.

This reminds me of employees who think the CEO doesn't "do" anything. Head coach oversees the entire staff and roster.

Granted, in Dallas the HC is neutered but that's a Jerry thing. JG's eventual replacement will do the same if he wants to keep his job.

Exactly he manages the team, manages the practices, keeps everybody motivated, level headed, and makes sure everyone is doing their jobs.

Also, he claps bc that’s how he gets his players to move on to the next play. That’s a coaches way of saying hey regardless of what’s going on we’re professionals and we need to remain focused on the task at hand and not get too high or too low

What exactly does Garrett do?

He’s a creature of habit. He starts the day with a nice spiced latte as he drives his Prius to The Star. Upon arrival, he studies game film for an hour, then enjoys a spirited game of backgammon with Kellen Moore, followed by a light lunch consisting of either a watercress salad or tuna on Melba toast. Then he retreats to his office for a 15 minute power nap before he meets with his coordinators for a planning session. Later, he wanders the practice field offering golden nuggets of wisdom to those in need of encouragement. If he is feeling stressed at the end of the day, he stops by the lake on his way home to watch the sun set. At home, he reads in the den for 30 minutes, then he goes upstairs to the bedroom, slides into bed, gently kisses his wife goodnight, and the lights go out at 10:35. Next morning it starts all over again.
