We will continue to deploy our strategy of identifying 3-4 positions of need and attacking each of those positions with a 1-2 yr deal for a vet in FA and them doubling down in the draft with 1 or 2 more.

My early guesses of those positions are
Safety, DT, and TE. Maybe OT or RB

we are drafting at 58 so whoever we pick could be a starter or not they are not going to improve a lot in the draft this year

Think they'll package 58 with one of the 4ths to move into the top 10 of the 2nd for whichever TE falls out of 1st! If not then safety or 3tech!

Depends on free agency. Right now it looks like we need:
- A safety (a starter)
- A DT (minimum regular rotation)
- An OT (swing tackle)
- 2 x LB (backups)
- 2 x WR (1 regular + 1 depth)
- A TE (starter/no.2)
- A RB (backup)

- There are several starting safeties in FA and IMO none are staring quality past 58.
- There are several rotational DT and starters both in draft and FA.
- There are few good tackle options anywhere.
- Backup LB are cheap in FA and can be found late in the draft.
- There are a few overpriced WR in FA, some mid round options in the draft.
- No starting quality TE in FA, some good options to develop in the draft 2-4th round.

So if it’s me:
FA: Safety + LB
Draft Rds 2-4: DT+WR+TE+ RB

That's definitely the tendency Quincy. Watch what happens in FA which shows their tendencies in the draft. Last year? Joe Thomas FA then LVE. O-line FA's then Williams. WR FA's then Gallup. Happens often
