I am not all that excited to draft a player with our first pick who will be sidelined until at least June.Hopefully it makes him fall to 58...I think he has a chance to be a force if he puts it all together

Tillery is interesting, but that kind of risk is something you do for a player who was elite when healthy.

I disagree. 1st and 2nd rounders need to be able to contribute right away.I hear what you’re saying but I don’t think you change your draft strategy because you don’t have a 1st round pick. I don’t think we HAVE to skip taking a guy because he’s injured. Let’s be honest, if we’re counting on pick 58 to be an immediate contributor we are probably in trouble anyway.
And for the record I don’t think Tillery is a slam dunk, can’t miss prospect or anything. There could easily be a better prospect available. Consistency is definitely not his strong suit. At times he looks like a 1st round pick, and others he looks like a 4th.
Id LOVE for him to be our pick at 58.
or advances made so quickly in modern medicine.I don't think this is going to effect his stock to that degree.
Blame Copper.
