I do have a couple comedy acts, where I act like a casual fan, like you. It goes over pretty well; people laugh.

Wow, that's so funny I don't think I'll ever stop laughing. BTW I've been a Cowboys fan since their very first day back in 1960.

Well we haven’t improved. Lost Beasley, Wilson, Gregory. So three starters. Going to be tough to fill that via draft

Yeah...virtually impossible but that's their choice so one more day on the board and I'll be back after the draft. GREAT fans and posters on here but nothing positive to talk about until after the draft. No first rounder doesn't help. If DLaw is going to continue his BS attitude I say get that first back and ship him to Indy or Jville or whomever has the highest 1st rounder. The fact he was invisible the last part of the season and playoffs weighs heavily on my mind. Rebuild the Dline first and the secondary well..............can't wait anymore but time will tell.

Would you rather overpay a player that makes the team better or let that cap money sit there unused like last season?

And the Earl Thomas teeth-gnashing era begins. Whines are currently holding at Category 3 levels with forecasts of whine gusts approaching Category 5 by the end of next month.

Lol at the zoners who were saying he didn't deserve more than 8-9 mil per year. Mathieu getting $14mil per year was a clear indicator ET was going to get paid.

Nobody said he wasn’t going to get paid, but some of us didn’t want him for that kind of coin missing all those games the last 3 years and being 30 years old.

Once Dak signs his new deal in the next week most of that space is gone.

Yep...and ALL the other guys we have to sign are well documented. We have virtually NO cap space left after we sign who we need to. Most 'fans' just refuse to admit that or just too obtuse. NOT defending the Jones'....they don't know wth they are doing IMO. But they've painted themselves into a corner with the cap and aren't savvy enough to get out of it like the GM's in NEngland, Philly and elsewhere are. Just a fact. We are hamstrung every year with the billionaire bumpkins. Our only real hope is McClay but as we've seen he isn't perfect either. (Hello Taco)

I love some ET, but that's a ton of money.

The FO must believe that the guys we need to resign are going to be a buttload of cash - and they're probably right.

What's most disappointing to me is that our core guys are under rookie contracts and we'll lose that goodness going forward. Our window isn't closed, but we definitely missed an opportunity to surround them with talent.

Eagles took adavantage of wentz rookie contract. Rams have taken advantage. (Reached SB) I've seen Seahawks win it with Wilson. But here we are going into daks last year, and nada.

Yep, heard that a million times.

This franchise is soo trash

Yeah, I've been a BIG critic of S.Jones too. Just listen to the guy get interviewed and take note of his quotes. He's the son of a Billionaire who didn't have to scrape and claw his way to the top, let alone pay his dues. He's more unlikeable than his Dad if that's possible. People wonder why we don't court FA's? It's not just the money guys: these two are the FACE of this franchise and that's been a big problem for a very long time and sadly it isn't changing anytime soon.

Please don’t use smart move and our FO in the same sentence.

Why? I give them a hard time when they do things I don't think are smart. I give them praise when they do things I do think are smart.. its called being fair. I don't think that just because they have made mistakes in the past, that precludes them from making good decisions. I will give them heat when I feel it's deserved (like signing Dak to a long term contract, if that happens) but will also say, good job, when it's deserved, like this decision. Crazy huh.
