Lol at the zoners who were saying he didn't deserve more than 8-9 mil per year. Mathieu getting $14mil per year was a clear indicator ET was going to get paid.

Unfortunately, you're right. When Mathieu got that much $$$ I couldn't believe it, but then that's what the market is now. With the way the cap has increased it's inevitable. Teams have money.

That was way too much money for ET

Would he have improved the 2ndary? No doubt.

But he wanted too much money. Even what he got from Baltimore is too much.

Dallas gonna have to find someone else (?Boston, Clinton-Dix, Ward?) or draft...

HaHa is about to resign with the Skins. Plus, he teams up again with Landon Collins and Alabama 2.0

Jeff Heath and Xavier Woods.

Kavon Frazier and Darian Thompson as backups.

It’s what it’ll be on the final 53

So you're admitting I'm right that he didn't actually want to come here, he just wanted the most money regardless of who or where it came from. Thanks for being so agreeable. Cool, cool, cool.

I want to live with my wife but Im not coming home if someone is offering me 6 million a year to stay away.

If the Cowboys over paid and got Thomas which of Lawrence, Elliott, Cooper, Jones and Prescott are you willing to not get resigned because of over paying an older injury prone safety. Now before the same group jump on Prescott remember no 1st round pick so no QB to draft and that leaves Cooper Rush or Mike White. Don't say trade because again no 1st rnd pick so that leaves what group of players are you then willing to give up to make that trade. The smartest thing the Cowboys have done thus far was to pass on Thomas.
.

Dak doesnt need resigned this off season - So we draft a QB the following year in the 1st round when we have a 1st round pick again

joking but had to point that out from your post.

Wooohooo! Finally someone signed that injury prone overrated safety. Dallas should be glad they didnt waste 10 or 12 mil a year on him. Thomas was good 5 years ago but has been no better than Jeff Heath the last few years.
He’s not the player he once was but in no way, shape or form is he as bad as Heath.

Was disappointed until I saw the price tag that Ravens paid. Yikes. If it's between paying that or drafting a safety, give me the rookie.
