Woodson isnt the type of guy who just says things to say them.

He's making a statement based entirely on second hand info. I like Darren Woodson. He was a great player in Dallas, and is regarded as being a good man. That being said, he can't speak with first hand knowledge to how Romo is as a leader in the locker room. All he has is what someone else has told him. Could the info be correct? Absolutely. It could also be subject to interpretation, as some guys would run through a wall for him while others may be more standoffish.

The larger point is that Woodson is not speaking first hand on this. Hatcher is.

Like your making an assumption on his statement? Do you know he didnt witness any of it? Woodson along with alot of other former Cowboys are always around the organization.

Dude, he's not in the locker room on a daily basis. He would have next to no direct knowledge.

I think we are reading too much into this. Hatcher is entitled to his opinion. Not everybody on every football team gets along. He and Romo just weren't friends, so maybe now Hatcher is venting a bit.

I remember former Packers receiver Greg Jennings going on one of those morning sports talk shows saying basically the same thing about Aaron Rodgers. Said he was a "me me" guy that thought he was above the rest of the team and never took blame when things went wrong. Said many players loved Brett Favre but couldn't stand Rodgers.

But then I read stories lauding Rodgers' leadership. So who can we believe?

Why do you think I have a GED or are you just trying to insult me by making things up. That’s a pretty low bar you exhibit which proves that you’re not credible. But keep trying, it’s fun squashing you all the time.
your "outings" just got to me. I lost all self control.

I would take Murray at 7 million per year over Zeke at 15 million I will tell you that. Zeke is better, but not that much better. Murray is a stud on and off the field, leader. Zeke is a moron.
Tell me what kind of o-line they have and maybe I could agree with money. Murray can’t turn dog crap into chicken like Zeke can.

I think there were a few out of 53, including Hatcher.
I also think this is almost universal in all locker rooms unless you're making deep playoff runs.

But just to be clear, when Garrett and Romo were seen together, Murray and Witten were often there too....and normally it was Garrett inviting Romo and then Romo inviting his running mates (Murry and Witten and sometimes Dez or Doug Free). Usually for basketball games.

People also should understand that Hatcher left at one the most frustrating time in franchise history--after the 2013 season when they'd just finished 8-8 for the 3rd year.
Romo (and team) led them to a game winning drive at Washington to go 8-7 but he had a herniated disc and wasn't there for them at home in week 17 to help get to the playoffs, They lost to Philly. Very frustrating.

The very next year, with no hatcher, the team had massive chemistry while rolling through the league--and especially in December.
That year Romo became the first QB in NFL history to lead the league in QB rating in both the playoffs and regular season. Love was going around that year
Hatcher wasn't around for that.

A lot of guys weren’t. He’s not referencing the 2015 or 2014 Cowboys. He’s referencing those other teams that underachieved year after year.

I believe it. Doesn’t seem that outlandish to think players were upset about seeing those guys at games and outings together.

I didn't like it that much.
This is what I heard.
Garrett would call Romo to go to basketball game and then Romo would call Murray and/or Witten to come too.
It's kind of hard to tell your coach "no", but you can buffer it some by bringing some of your crew.

It didn’t bother me but in locker room full of egos? And you are underachieving? I believe it. It’s almost like Dak and co. have learned from it. Proof by his trip with all of his receivers. Everyone seems to do their own thing together. The wide receivers hang around each other. Dak and Zeke do. The offensive linemen hang with each other. The defensive line....seems more cohesive now.

“Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. I think when I was there he thought he was bigger than the team. It was like Romo and then the team. Like nobody in the locker room is really going to respect you like that. I really don't respect him as a player based on what he did to the team where a lot of people didn't see.”

"He was a great player and got all the numbers and stuff but I'll take Dak over Romo any day because Dak has the ability to make people around him better. You'll run through a wall for Dak but Romo, hell no."

When asked to clarify his remark about making people better, Hatcher went on to criticize Romo even more.

"Romo was feeling like he was a Brett Favre and I'm like 'dude, you ain't do nothing. What have you done? You got your own space that you leave ... don't come in the locker room an interact with your teammates, but you call yourself a leader? Nah, partner. It don't work like that.'

Hatcher was asked about what happened around the time the Cowboys fired Phillips and if the team quit on him?

"Let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you the truth. I saw Jason Garrett sabotage this man."

When asked if Hatcher believed that he said, "absolutely."

"We ran three plays three freakin plays (before Wade was fired). I don't care what the media say. We was flying around. We was out of pads in week 7 (in 2009). We was beating people's heads in. Now we go into camp cupcake (in 2010) and do what Wade don't want to do. We get in pads, we beat each other down. We tired, we not fresh. And then you go and call three or four plays (Garrett on offense) till this man gets fired."
Not surprised. Hatcher is not the first, second or third ex-Cowboy to say as much.
