Nobody is saying it is. Don't push a false narrative as an excuse for you trying to telling anyone else the right way to behave or react.
I’m not pushing a false narrative OR telling anyone how to behave or react. You can behave or react any damn way you want, just as I’m able to react to it any damn way I want. You can say Jerry’s from outer space if you want. Conversely, I can laugh and say that’s stupid if I want. Get it?

My whole point is always being disappointed and always complaining and always being unhappy about a game we have no control over is a monumental waste of time. It’s an eye rolling exercise in futility, but rage on!✊

I wouldn’t love that number. But I’d rather gripe about the number and have ET. The approach of not overpaying for free agents is a good one. But sometimes you break the rules for impact players. ET would have brought a winning attitude and leadership to a young team.

Possibly. We’ll never know.

Someone phone Jerry and let him know that my cash will go to the Browns now.

If I am going to finance a perennial loser, I might as well choose one who is at least trying. Re-signing and extending the guys you have repeatedly failed with, isn't trying.

Same failure of a coach. Same failing players.

Olawale? Just shove it.

Jerry will cry himself to sleep. Buh-bye!

Well, KC released Eric Berry, he's about 3 years past his best playing days. That sounds like just the type of signing Dallas likes

1. Signing bonus: $20 million.

2. 2019 base salary: $2 million, fully guaranteed.

3. 2020 base salary: $10 million, fully guaranteed.

4. 2021 base salary: $11 million.

5. 2022 base salary: $12 million.

That’s it. It’s that simple, and that straightforward.

Maybe other teams and agents should take that as a hint as to how easy it can all be.

These terms are basically 2 years for 32 million. ET was looking for 14 mill a year and got 2 years at 16 mill per year. He agreed to a tiny bit less than 14 mill a year in exchange for more upfront - that's always a good decision. Those last two years are basically options that both parties have to agree to. The Ravens have to be willing to pay and ET has to be willing to continue to play. He could very well just retire after two year (he's hinted at it previously)

Yep. Actually a solid deal for the Ravens and one the cowboys should have matched.

But we like our guys.

Here is the deal though. If they were willing to trade a second and pay $10-$11 per year, how is $14 too rich if you don’t have to spend the pick?

$3 million of $188 million cap is more important to them than a second round pick?

Even you have to question that decision making.

What do you mean by “even you” here? I question this team’s decision making all the time.

Don’t by your own line that just because I think we have a good coach I think we’re making enough good decisions to win a world championship.

I didn’t want to give a straight 2nd for Thomas last season. Highest I wanted to go was the 2nd for Thomas and a 4th. And that was before he broke his leg again.

I do think we’re generally too conservative in FA, and that it’s hurt us. But I get not wanting to offer $14.5AAV and 32MM GTD here. That’s a lot of money.
