Have the Browns passed the Cowboys in roster talent?

I’d take Cleveland’s roster. Dallas has LB, RB, and DB over them and OL clearly if healthy.

Otherwise it’s the Browns easy for me. But I have little faith left in Dak to grow much more so that’s a big swing point.

Dak over Mayfield.

We’ll see. Like I said, Dak’s just not growing as much as I’d like to see. Maybe Mayfield won’t either. In about 3 years the truth will be known. One will be up for a big extension and one will be in the middle of his big extension. I’d rather be in the Browns’ shoes right now.

Yep, they've passed Dallas and have pretty much lost that loser mentality. May not win a SB next year but I'd expect a winning record.

He grew in spite of the OL chaos once Cooper arrived. I saw that.

Who cares, they've picked at the top of the draft every year, they should've lapped us twice.

If the browns win a divisional rd playoff game this season, they will have lapped us on that over past 23 yrs.

I never thought I'd see the day when Cowboys fans were good with moral victories. Satisfied with winning seasons, or division titles. The things that we used to crucify Commander, Eagle, and Giants fans for when they'd throw those types of achievements up when we were winning REAL Championships. It's a sad day.
The fans have been beaten down.

lol I can't believe this thread right now. we traded of ra number one receiver who we all love. fredbeard is back. all pro center is back and one of the team leaders. until the browns make the playoffs I don't see how this is even a conversation. we were just in the divisional round lol
The Browns are a team on the way up. The Cowboys are in the middle where they always are.

Why all these stupid threads about Cleveland? how about someone move these dumb threads outta here?

This is a Cowboys forum. Go cheer for Cleveland if you want.
Yet there’s been thread after thread comparing Zeke to Gurley, Dak to Wentz, Dak to Goff, Zeke to Barkley...and you have no problem with that. IMOF, you’ve commented in several of them IIRC.

Talent on paper means nothing. If it did, we would have had a few more super bowls in the last 22 years. How that talent translates on the field, the chemistry they hold, the coaching they have, the execution of plays has everything to do with success. I know a lot of experts are claiming the Browns to be the top of the AFC. I guess we will find out by the end of next season. As far as the Cowboys are concerned we still have Garrett and a brand new OC. We shall see how the play calling will be this season. In the off season every team is on the same level.
We've never had the most talented team in the NFL in the last 22 years. Not once.
And if you say 2007 with half of those Pro Bowler being bogus you are forgetting an undefeated Pats team.

I actually kind of enjoy them, especially when talking about our divisional rivals. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Cleveland I don’t care about as mich since they’re not even in our conference but I find their roster and turnaround pretty fascinating.

It’s more entertaining and relevant than bringing up certain past players that have nothing to do with the team anymore and we can only complain about the FO and fantasize about FA’s for so long.

Its all good. But there have been 5 or 6 threads in the last 3 days on how great Clevelands roster is now. Personally, I really dont care. Cant speak for others.

I'm sure some are impressed with Cleveland talk about a low bar being set after all in 19 season they have won a total of 96 games and finished last 15 of 19 seasons. Finished 3rd last season with 7-9-1 and they got the better roster? Based on what?

Yes and the main reason is They have a top QB with a high ceiling. We have an ok QB With a low ceiling that hasn’t improved since year 1.

Drafted well which Dallas has also but they made big moves to round out the roster which we haven’t other than getting Cooper.
