I haven't rewatched the season, but the reason the cowboys were not successful was because of unproductive first halves and failures in the red zone.

There is too much crying about safety and free agency.

The cowboys biggest problem can be solved with practice and development. The offense was patching it together last year.

The Cowboys made the post season. I don't think anyone cares about how we did it. We just look at how we lost in that Rams game and there were glaring weaknesses on both sides of the football.

And sure....Cowboys COULD get better just getting a year older. They are one of the younger teams in the league. Its just a spit in the face to fans to take that approach. You should be finding free agents and allowing your young team to get older.

1. They lost their big two throwing targerts

2. They didn't do much in the preseason.

3. They did the no number one receiver thing, or thought hurns could step up more in his first year

4 lost frederick

They have been getting free agents. The defense did well last year, and the offense left them out to dry a lot

They haven't though. They've been waiting for the 3rd tier free agency guys are ready to sign and that's when they have done it. Defense did well but folded when it matters. This defense is closer to being great than this offense is. This offense is going to take better coaching. This defense is playing over its head and in order to be great they are going to have to get better personnel on that side of the football.

They have done an awesome job rebuilding this team. Rod had nothing and it was 3-4, and now it is one of the better defenses. They did this while getting the oline stacked, their qb of the future, the number one rb in the league, and a top receiver.

People forget the days of bad contracts, high priced free agents, and no depth.

I like how this team is built and what they have been doing with free agency

Get ready for a 6-10 season, this team stunk until they had to trade a first round pick because they were so stupid last off season and her we go again

Lol...just need some more practice to get to the Super Bowl. That's a Garrett statement if I ever heard one.

They are one of the youngest if not the youngest teams in the league, and they won their division and a playoff game. They did this while trying to figure out the offense.

I think it will is a more reasonable assessment than saying the season is over we didn't overpay in free agency

Figure out the offense?? Linehan's offense was the most simplistic offense in the NFL.

Dez, witten, and Frederick were gone, and dak is still learning. Dak hasnt mastered the game yet.

Maybe I should have said figure out what works and implement it, instead of learn.

The whole point of this thread is that everyone is freaking out over safety and free agency.

Dak has taken them to the playoffs twice in three years, but the offense got off slow in games, they were not consistent throughout games, and had trouble in the red zone. If they fix that, they will improve the team more than high priced free agents, and have the money to sign their rising stars

I am not against bringing in a big name, but if they don't, i think they can get back to where they were last year or further

I hate to break the news to you bro, but Heath missed the most tackles in the league last year and no amount of practice is going to make him better.

Now if your argument is that they can win despite having the worst starting safety in the NFL, then that's an entirely different discussion.
