Don't want a free agent at DT. Suh is already on his second team, I don't see he's that serious about playing, goes for the money, plays below his potential during the regular season. then jumps up and plays well during the playoffs, IF he gets there.

Ngata is 34 years old, we need a new DT to play a lot, doubt he'd hold up for a whole season. If he could be gotten on the cheap as a fill in, fine, but I don't like the idea of putting a "geezer" in with the young pups on the team now.

Supposedly this is a deep DT draft, DTs don't normally go high in the draft once you get past the top 1-2-3 of them, should be one available early in the second, like Wilkins from Clemson. Of course the Cowboys could always try to move up a bit to get in the first round...

Margus Hunt,Colts.
and I'd still draft one...Renell Wren,Az State has similar body type to David Irving.
I like Fsu's Demarcus Christmas.
A&Ms Daylon Mack is on my radar.
Daniel Wise,Ku intrigues.
I also like Cincinnati's Marquise Copeland.

Hunt from the Colts makes sense...he was on our draft radar 3 or 4 seasons ago...Colts have similar system...he'd be a good fit here and shouldn't break the bank.

If Marinelli can't move his way of thinking after what I saw versus the Rams, then maybe Marinelli needs to be the one MOVING ON.
I don't want a fat guy because he is fat, I wan't a quick fat guy who is strong enough to demand a double team. Rams singled up the inside guys and got to the second level where they destroyed the LB's (took some holding to do it, but they got away with it). Their 330+lb fat guys manhandled our guys......That is all on Marinelli.

Thats what marinelli wants but there are so few who have both the explosion and strength marinelli wants so we sacrifice size/strength to get that quickness.

you have to draft them HIGH, and not accept just anyone.

Believe we see Dallas draft one or two DT in this draft and pick up one or two as UDFA type. But I do see them signing a free agent, not top tier but maybe one in the 2nd or 3rd week of free agency. One name not listed the Gerald McCoy DT Tampa Bay who is most likely going to be released for salary cap reasons. He is 31 but still playing quite well and would benefit from a rotation that we use on the DL. Not sure what his price would be but suspect it would be far less than what some would believe. Hope we at least look in to seeing how much he would cost.

Watch out for this name

Tyeler Davison DT saints

Cowboys were really high on him coming out of fresno state. Very effective for the saints. Should be on the cheaper end too.

Jarrett & Richardson are very unlikely - too expensive, after that I don't see anyone as an improvement over Irving at his best - but he is never on the field and I doubt he will see his best again.

Hunt from the colts and anderson from the jets should be easy enough to sign and upgrade what we have and then still draft a guy. Someone always gets hurt in camp so we need a few guys who can really play.

Benny Logan would be a fun one. He was a hell of a run stopper in Philly's 4-3.

Suh was played out of position at NT last season.
