Have the Browns passed the Cowboys in roster talent?

Mayfield may not get there either but I’ve seen every game of Mayfield since he got to the Sooners and feel better about him advancing to that level right now than I do Dak. Time will tell.
Mayfield has a big time arm. Dak has the arm of a high school kid.

I wouldn’t go that far. I’ve seen Dak make some stud throws I just don’t see them consistently enough. I hold out hope for him because he’s getting the big deal and he’s the man for at least 4 more years. That’s just the way it’s gonna be.

So did Ryan Leaf.
Ryan Leaf like so many other QBs had the physical tools but not the mental tools. Mayfield has all the physical and mental tools you want in a franchise QB. Dak has some of the mental( lacks confidence to trust his arm in tighter coverage and deeper routes ) and this relates to marginal arm strength and that relates to mid to deep accuracy issues.

Troy Aikman 18 ints to 9 tds if you call Mayfield mental in his rookie season what would you call Aikman? after his rookie season?
Or
Peyton Manning 28 ints to 26 TD's
Or
Tom Brady 12 int's to 18 TD's
Or
Drew Brees 16 int's to 17 TD's

Get the picture yet?

I insulted the thread. Are you the thread?

Why would a Cowboys fan care about Cleveland? Your mucking up the board.
Well its the offseason, and there is plenty of room on this board for other NFL news and information, keeps me tuned in as far as where the Cowboys stand vs the league I guess.
I don't mind, I appreciate all relevant info and I appreciate what @Bobhaze brings to the board, and the info you bring as well.

Ryan Leaf had a big time arm. joe Montana did not. If you don’t think Dak is a goofed overall QB, fine, but this is not enough.

Relevant is the key word.

But I did find it interesting that OBJ and Jarvis Landry were teammates at LSU together. That team should really take off this year.

The Browns have way too many egos on that team. Good luck to them.

They are putting a lot of weapons around Mayfield. OBJ, Jarvis, Njoku, Hunt, Chubb, Johnson.

The Browns have one of the most talented rosters in the league imo. If Baker is the real deal that division will be primed for the taking. Pitts is hemorrhaging talent and Cinny isn't a threat. Im not sure the Ravens can make it happen for an entire season with Jackson either.

The Rams passed everyone in talent last year.

Talent isn't everything - especially when a chunk of it is only rented for a year, or two.

Are you serious? How many winning seasons, divisions won, playoff games won Vs Dallas. GTFOH
right! ridiculous the Browns have always been bottom feeders, success is NOT just SBs and NFCCG but as team iun wins vs losses and History, The DC are so far out front of those losers its redicluos to compare..

whats more ridiculous is they have had 10 straight years not of 2 TWO first round Draft picks and finally found a QB,just now and a decent Rb, putting together a decent team after all those high draft pick fao\ils is not worth the comparison...

Cleveland Browns are losers the team, the ownership, the drafts, players and records..

any Fan on here that believes we havent dont any better , has huge issues and needs to turn over the Fan card..seriously its ignorant to say or think that..did our Team pack up and go to Balitomore? since then have they got better? I mean 3-33 or something over 3 years an 0-16 season and some of you think thats the same as 2nd round exits and 3-5 division wins and many other things.. SO the F what no SBs in 30 years but that doesn't take away wins losses, division wins, and playoff wins and appearances..

we are consistently top 10 in the NFL in W-L record , Browns well they are in the bottom 10..if not dead last out of 32 EVERY YEAR..

this little turn around dont change that, they were 7-9 last year correct? fired coach's and still somehow we are no different?

they finally have some talent and we all of a sudden comparing them to us, shame on you..you should have your fan card revoked and volunteer to delete your account for even making long term comps..

to the OP ?

sure some of there players they now have compare but they arent better until they turn it into winning..btw OBJ we played them twice year for how long now? whats the Giants record against us? same with others, remember the dream team? big names mean nothing unless the find ways to turn it into winning..

lets keep it at last season only, Cowboys win on all fronts..no comp..even Bakers had a nice year but his numbers especially his turnovers dont make him that much better then Dak, I mean hes high risk player who takes chances and the more they win the more other teams will be adjusting to BM..he had nice year for a rookie QB..
