The only time I respond to every post is when it's my particular thread. I feel it would be impolite not to

Good post and I understand that yes. I'm just throwing the can around. Like the old question does the backfield help the defensive line or the defensive line help the backfield. I understand it totally. For me it's pressure up the middle just my opinion

I think pressure up the middle is important, but it really only works if there is some degree of pressure across the D-Line. Otherwise it is too easy to game plan for.

You have to be a idiot to trade him for a second rounder and think trading two second rounders will get you a player of his caliber.
I'm actually thinking of getting a better player with my 2 second round picks didn't you read the post we're just kicking the can around looking for ideas.

Who in their right mind would give you a first round pick for him especially with the money he wants with the talent that's coming out in this draft. What's your theory??

Colts rumor a week back was their 1st and 3rd. I would jump on this and package them to move up in the first round.
The deal would have been already done . I'm sure a lot of people don't like it but I would do it in a heartbeat

So tell me something. What's your dream. Rather than commenting on everybody else's post what's your theory.??

First the Cowboys hold all the cards with Lawrence. Either he signs his tag or agrees to a long term contract. He's to smart to sit out because he knows he'll never recoup the money he would lose by sitting out and money right now seems to be the big factor. My guess is sometime just before the deadline in July a contract will get done. Last week when an article game out that Lawrence felt disrespected by getting tagged again it has since come out that it was his agent that said that and I think he did that publicly to maybe get other GM's to think that the Cowboys possibly might put him up for a trade. But then, being a fan I'm not a GM either.

?

No.....a first round pick and a top 15 one as well

Unless the rams are going to trade us Donald for Lawrence straight up

Then I would put the rams in the same boat as the vikings when we bamboozled them in the H. Walker trade.

It would be great if the Cowboys had that guy that can push up the middle along with a Lawrence that does it from the edge. That would take a lot of pressure off the DB's .

He's not in the class of DWare and doesn't deserve that kind of money. Let some other foolish team sign him. My guess is that he will be on IR 10 minutes after the ink dries on the contract.

I'm looking forward to bumping this thread after he signs and has a great 2019 season.

I Don't think you would get a first rounder for him either right now. His best value to trade him would be for next years pick. But now? You're losing value.

That sounds great in theory....but you are more likely to end up with a player the caliber of Taco Charlton than you are Demarcus Lawrence. That's the luck of the draft for you.

Thank you. I also think the best defensive player is the guy with the most tackles but that's an opinion
