If these 3 were in the upcoming draft and you had the #1 pock, which QB would you pick?

Mayfield over Dak all day long, its not even a debate.
Darnold over Dak too.

I debate 24/7. Every wants the shiny new toy. After the draft, it will be the same thing with the new qb's drafted.

Mayfield looks legit as hell, and he did it on the Browns. THE BROWNS.

We don't know if he can stay healthy like Dak has, but he has looked FANTASTIC as a passer without a doubt.

Darnold however hasn't done squat. I don't get the love for him AT ALL. Dude has been less accurate than Dak and thrown picks at a higher rate than Dak and dudes here want to crown him? LMAO.

Out of curiosity, does everybody think Mayfield looked better as a rookie than Dak looked as a rookie?

As someone who thought he'd be a bust and had to eat crow from all my friends (I'm from Ohio), that dude balled out. Was deadly accurate for the most part.

I 100% do, and I'm not one of the Dak haters around here, either.

Dak had better efficiency stats, but had a much better supporting cast overall as a rookie, and until they purged the coaching staff halfway through the season the Browns leadership was an absolute disaster compared to the Cowboys. I'm a big Garrett critic, but I gave him full credit in 2016 for doing a good job integrating Dak into the offense his rookie season, and as a general team leader Hue Jackson is so bad he makes Garrett look like Belichick.

And on the stats side, keep in mind that Mayfield set the rookie passing TD record in only 13 starts.

Mainly though this is a case where you have to watch the guy play. Mayfield is just a really, really sharp passer in general, and it jumps off the screen at you. He has good pocket awareness and can just put the ball wherever he wants to without a lot of wasted motion. It's not hard to imagine him looking like 2010 Drew Brees by 2020.

Keep in mind I would take Mayfield over ANY of the younger QBs out there right now, not just Dak. I seriously think he's that good.

I’m still in the corner of Darnold being the safest choice of the 2018 qbs, but I can’t deny Mayfield was awesome last year.
