How good or bad do you feel about the Cowboys 2019 season

I feel pretty good. We got a bit deeper, possibly a bit more talented. Team should be able to compete. Garrett's back is against the wall so the coaching staff will be focussed. Moore's novelty alone should make it more difficult to game plan against us since there won't be any tape to look at. Schedule seems reasonable.

Yeah. Pretty good. Go get me Karl Joseph now and I'll give you a bit of the McGregor strut.

If its special..NFC championship game. If bad Dallas could miss the playoffs. A lot we need to learn.

We have to stop the trend of regression after a good season

Now that the offseason is pretty much in the book, and we know what we are going into 2019 with, how good or bad do you feel about the upcoming season?

I think the team's ceiling is unchanged until I see something different in January. It's not as if the other 31 teams stood pat while the Cowboys made moves.

We have to stop the trend of regression after a good season

Eh. If our starting QB goes down, we'll have another 2015. If Zeke gets suspended for 6 games and the O-line gets decimated by injury over that same stretch, we'll have another 2017. There are any other number of unanticipated events that could cause the season to go down the toilet.

But leaving aside the unforeseeable (or at least the stuff for which you can't properly plan, like your starting QB going down and missing the season) we have as much cause for optimism as all but a few fanbases.

Don’t feel good at all. Tough schedule, not much improvement except Quinn, Heath still slated to start, and Garrett is still in charge. I don’t think he will let anyone change his offense enough for it to matter. It certainly could go the other way and see the team go deep in the playoffs, I just don’t see it at this time. Get a real safety somehow and prove Garrett’s hands are out of the offense and I’d likely feel differently.

I think the overall talent level is a little better. I felt that the talent level already was pretty good. I think every year Garrett gets slightly better as a coach....very slightly.... baby steps.

But.....

The schedule is brutal. And while I am a big Dallas Cowboy fan I try to not let my love for the football team blind me. I think a lot of people are overrating the team this year. I think they go 9-7 or 8-8 and barely miss the playoffs. I think everyone is going to blame the head coach & QB. I think it will be the same feeling that we all had after the Titans game.

Also the team was very healthy last year.... which probably means the team is due for more injuries this year. Whether it's Amari or Zeke or whoever the team has shown that it has a hard time winning games unless everything is perfect.

Bad

1. Havent gone to the playoffs in consecutive seasons since 2007

2. NFCE has had a new champion every season since 2003-2004

3. 1st place schedule

4. DCs have the offseason to study how to stop Amari

5. Garrett is still the headcoach and Dak is still the QB

Always optimistic this time of year.

Check back in December and I’ll have it all figured out.

This is our best roster in at least 12 years.

Ive always pulled for both Tony and Dak....so starting a fight here.
I think Romo (2014 version), along with Zeke and the D, leads the Cowboys to a Super Bowl with this team

If Dak can progress from his 2nd of last season form, then this could get interesting.
Pulling for him big time
