Arthroscopic surgery doesn't take an extraordinary amount of time to rehab and recover from.

I'm hopefully expecting Mike Weber to recover within a time frame that allows him to play. :)

Of course, if significantly more invasive surgery is required, all of that would probably change.

Weber was one that I wanted to watch most in TC. Still may get that chance. If he doesn't get too far behind in OTA's. I guess he can still be there, but will not participate in the glorified walk throughs. Unless he recovers from the rest and treatment and gets in a few of them.

If he has a simple torn meniscus, he'd probably be getting the arthroscopy immediately.
If he has a significant tear of the ACL, he'd need open surgery.

So it's most likely a minor ACL or MCL sprain (clearly discernible on MRI), and will expect complete recovery in 4-6 weeks.

So he is going to the IR for the year...

The Break made it sound like it was not a big deal and moved on from talking about the injury.

I don't doubt it. Probably a good way to stash him.

Why would we want to stash a kid that they were clearly counting on to be a backup RB to Zeke?

If the kid needs surgery, he should have it now. Stashing might make sense if he was a long term project but right now, we have Elliott as the starter and pretty much nothing else.
