It is being rumored that Wentz contract extension will be at $30 mill year (same as Dak rumored #s). If that happens then the implosion can not happen soon enough with Jones running the Dallas Cowboys. Wentz is MVP type QB when healthy and Dak if everything on earth breaks right for him could make pro-bowl.

We are going to find out very shortly if Jerry & Stephan are simply incompetent and more concerned with locking up guys they like (to insane contracts) just because they toe the company line.

When was Wentz “the most valuable player” on his team?

Was it the year they won the super bowl without him?

Or was it the season he had a losing record as a starter, and then the team won 3 straight games to make the playoffs and a playoff game without him?

Asking for a friend.

I realize wins and losses are team accomplishments. But can we stop with the MVP BS when it comes to Wentz. His best year, he was playing on an incredibly stacked team that was so good it won a championship without him.

Just amazing we have to keep reading about how great Wentz was with a last place schedule and super bowl team around him yet Dak has to have "everything break right for him" to be successful!

I have to disagree. Wentz may have more upside but he’s been hurt every year. Durability matters.

Dak deserves just as much as Wentz if not more. That being said, do I think either is worth 30 million per? No. But I also think Wilson is overpaid. So it seems I just don’t agree with the market.

Wentz is a good player but he was the second best Qb in philly til this past offseason.
Traditional QB, probably better than Dak but if I needed the win or had to put money down on a head to head matchup, id go with Dak every time. Dak has intangibles that Wentz does not.
Also, durability.

Define "upside".............if being injury prone and non-clutch is upside then yes I believe Wince does have more upside.
