I'm relieved to see that the Cowboys are proceeding so cautiously with Travis Frederick.

He'll require extra time to recover from his disease and rehab from his shoulder surgery.

I've been a bit apprehensive of an inclination of the Cowboys to rush him back hurriedly.

I honestly wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a combination of both.

It's usually best to 'err on the side of caution,' as the saying goes.

Likely because his immune system was out of whack, so the surgery was held off. I look at it as a good sign that it was done recently. Hopefully his disease is now under control.
