8.5 wins?

Dallas usually gets overvalued in Vegas because of the amount of casual betting action they get, but that seems just a touch too critical.

Something tells me folks are going to pile on the over here. What is it Vegas knows? They usually get this stuff right.

I'm not a gambler, but what kind of a payout does one get on over-under wagers?

This looks like easy money.

I would take the O on that but I could see this ending up only .5 over the line. If I had to predict, I would be in that 9 or 10 win place.

I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow. I'm a pessimist, but that does look like a downer estimate to me. Of course the magnetic pull to 8-8 is very strong with this team.

I'd feel better about the wager if they were 8-7 headed into the final week and had no shot at the playoffs. That's a near guaranteed win under Garrett.

Didn't Vegas have the Cowboys at 8 wins last year? What are they smoking over there in Sin City?

I think it is due to the up and down nature of the team. Wentz supposedly being healthy, Dallas lost talent on the DL and a first time OC.

Still I find it odd so many are ranking Dallas middle of the pack when the majority of the team is returning healthy. I expect Dallas to be a 10+ win team. Zeke is going to feast and Cooper and WR corp are going to do some damage. DLaw and our LBers are going to truck opposing QBs, RBs, and WRs all year.

A loss in game one against the Gnats? Good grief.

It truly is the off-season on a message board.
Yes. A guy has us going 11-5 and we have fans complaining on how he got us there.

Cautiously take the over. Cautiously. I don't like the whole game by game analysis at this point but if you look at the schedule in tiers:

Division: 4-2 (split with Philly, spit the bit somewhere else in a *** game).

Tier 1: @Saints, @Patriots, @Bears, Rams 2-2

Tier 2: Packers, Vikings 1-1

Tier 3: Dolphins, @Jets, @Lions, Bills 3-1

That's conservative and would work out to 10 wins. Even if you go 1-3 in the Tier 1 games, that's still 9 wins.

If we lose against the gnats in game 1, we dont deserve to go to the PO and old jerrah should not delay the what is coming at year's end and fire red on the spot.

unless the injury bug kills us we are winning more than 8.5 games this season. although we are the only team in the NFL who doesnt have back to back home games.

You guys get all worked up on what "Vegas thinks"...........ONCE AGAIN, it has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than how the bets are coming that is ALL that "Vegas" has an interest in.......not who wins games or seasonal records........they make their $$$$$$$$ on the betting.
