Why the heck should Zeke worry about respect? He should worry about winning and playing well in the big games. Hate to say it, but he and the offense sucked in the biggest game of the year against the Rams. You have to play well in those games to earn national respect and accolades. 47 yards on 20 carries isn't going to cut it. Emmitt brought his game to a higher level in January and got tougher. I don't see that trait in Zeke yet.

What level can a RB bring it to when he was getting hit in the backfield on almost every play? Our oline and d-line both got beat like drums against Rams. It’s funny he had no problem upping his game a week earlier against Seattle

I don't blame Zeke for adding weight...dude has defenses knowing his plays and running into 8 man box more than any other RB, plus getting more touches too.

Zeke is my favorite RB cause he's a Monstar out there on the field. 2X rushing champ, Linehan's playcalling couldn't stop him, only Goodell has been able to stop this man.

C) since when did any RB's get respect, when was the last time one led his team to a championship?

The RB position is not respected as it once was and any team paying a RB what the Rams are and what the Cowboys are getting ready to do will regret that unless they can win it all in that window.

Many here are Zeke nuts because he's the best player on the offense but when your RB is the best player on the offense, you are bringing a knife to a gunfight. The NFL stopped being about the run sometime back as that slows the game down and the owners will do whatever necessary to address that.

What effect do you think this reviewable PI call is going to have on the play calling? Bombs away and they don't send the RB on a deep fly route often.

When he had long runs, he often took himself out of games. Whether this means he gets tired carrying the weight, I don't know. But it seems like it.
Zeke is a great running back, no question. Could he be better with less weight? Maybe.
It appeared he was tired more often than previous years. But we shall see.
