I just remember every time the cameras panned on Dak on the sidelines, Sanchez was always literally standing by his side... Not Romo. I'm not saying Romo didn't help Dak. I'm sure Romo taught Dak a lot but it wasn't while the cameras were panned on Dak on the sidelines. I do know that #9 on a uniform shirt and #3 on a uniform shirt look different. Behind closed doors, it wouldn't surprise me if Romo spend a boatload of time with Dak. I just know it wasn't on the sidelines with the cameras panning on Dak.

Do y'all think we might be surprised about the "real" part behind some of these QB's? It's the ego position and many are "if I can't start here, I'm leaving and going elsewhere because I am the QB".

It is amusing to see some of these reactions and I wonder if someone was in your company, after your job, how would you respond? Gong to help them replace you in the name of "team"? BS.

I look at the body language of these guys like Cutler, Manning, Rothliesberger, Rodgers and if you want a really interesting study, watch the dynamics between Brady and his players on the sideline. Do you think all of the players on any team love the QB? Think there isn't some animosity and envy? Hatcher? What a joke, all DL hate QB's.

When I think of the QB losing his job and his reaction, I think of Bledsoe in that Giants game and what he looked like on the sideline. The fact that Romo even tried to help speaks volumes to me about the guy and I think he did it because he likes him. I don't think he felt he owed him but Dak would be an easy player to like and want to help. He is also a young man very appreciative of that help because he knows it was purely the former QB1's call.

I do not think it is customary for the inactive QB to interact with the starting QB during a game, that's more the backup's role as he in directly involved in the game.

true dat and Romo was a better passer and understanding how to read defenses only. in terms of athleticism and holding up to the riggers of the NFL and being a dual threat he isn't better in fact if you aren't on the field to help your team which was the case late in his career and the prognosis moving forward by many what good are you?
The Jury is still out on Prescott, but so far he's been reliable, consistent, healthy and pretty dang good.

I can recall plenty of QBs who were out that helped.

man some of y'all really do spend too much time and energy on this **** (on either side)

I'm just counting down the days until the regular season game threads where 45% of the posts after a Dak TD will be "WHERE THE HATERS!! WHERE THE HATERS AT HAHAHAHAHA", 45% will be "HE GOT LUCKY, STILL SUCKS", while the other 10% of us will actually be enjoying the damn game

but has he risen to the level of being able to attend stars and mavs games with garrett and witten? until then, the ascent to mt. Olympus shall continue for #4.

This type of aloofness is why Romo lost the locker room. How do you expect Garrett to give him his starting role back if he wasn't around at all for that '16 season?

This is bull****. Room, when informed about his back got on the phone and called Dak to in courage him. That year you can see plenty of times where Romo was sitting on the bench or talking to him a long the sidelines. Total bull****!

Oh boy! really? I saw all those passes last season hit the dirt and fly up, out, and over WR heads. Don't piss down our backs and call it rain fellow.

he was helpful until dak started winning, and winning, and winning. and the team started rallying behind dak. witten and the vets. then a cold, lingering doubt began to set in that getting the job back just might not be as automatic as was previously thought. understandable.

All the typical haters have chimed in, all the same usual suspects that always have their agenda. At the end of the day who really cares about their butt hurt, clearly the same loser class that are still crying THREE YEARS LATER.
^ no agenda here folks
