The front office should go out and try to find a vet QB and a kicker to push Maher this week.

I have to agree, he looked bad, but again look who has been coaching him "up" lol.
The cowboys have coached up a qb and made him better since JG got here in 2007 .
And dont say Romo. because Tony was coached up by parcells and his staff, and himself.
Every qb that has come here plays bad and actually gets worse the longer they are with dallas.
Every single one, especially the ones they drafted.
Even dak has actually gone backwards from his 1st season he has not got better.

So yeah white has been ruined, and cooper was bad last year, and looked little better at first, then went downhill.
They look like no one has coached them at all since they have been here or coached them so bad they lose what they had when they
first came here.
If dak has to miss games, or just part of a game lol we really dont have a viable bkup.

I ADMIT, I was dead wrong. Mike white confirmed he is no NFL caliber QB...in spades , last night. I saw Cooper Rush look vastly improved in this Kellen Moore offense. No comparison, Rush is the way better prospect. END THE DEBATE.

They need to cut him, in favor of acquiring a vet QB after the final cuts.

Perhaps getting a good look at Taryn Christian wouldn't be a bad idea.

There's no rush. We have a new system and none of these QB's have had enough time,

I wasn't impressed with any of them, but I did not plan to be impressed. After game three we can evaluate the QB's and decide who needs to go.
At this point I think the starters need all the reps they can get for the rest of camp . The 3rd QB I could give a flying flip.

The mess at Qb position makes you wonder how good is Jason Garrett in evaluating and grooming QBs , which is Garrett’s supposed strength. Is this the best they can do .
Even Dak did not look that good . His foot movement and mechanics are still suspect.
Heck , Some colleges have better QB coaching.

I watched the entire game and not only did White have zero pocket presence, his accuracy was god awful. That my friends is why he doesn't belong on the team. Rush wasn't great either, but he appeared to know his checkdowns and know how to move in the pocket a bit. There is no doubt we really don't have a second string QB who has both the mental and physical talent to play in this league.

THE guy threw more ground balls in the red zone than a noodle arm baseball pitcher. He simply looked like he didn't have it in him. He hung on to the ball way too long, no poise, no awareness...everything you DONT WANT in an nfl QB...he should be cut because those are things you simply cant coach out of a player and fix. You either have those things,or you don't. CUT BAIT. Lets see what the next guy can do.

we learned why they signed McElroy and cut Rico. He is the far better project. I learned the guy can't block worth a lick lol..but he sure can run routes ,get open, and catch the ball...runs like a deer too. WORTH keeping and investing resources in. Like the pick up. Shultz looks improved too. I actually LOVE JARWIN over Witten..its not even close. Jarwin is out there laughing, having fun and runs routes..blocks,catches. HE IS JAY NOVACEK, period. Star in the making if he can get the reps. Love Witt...but he needs to move over and allow this cat to show out. Jarwin is a pure receiving TE...scary weapon and what makes him dangerous, is the confidence he is gaining. He plays with swag... Donovan Wilson= stud! The guy wears James Washingtons old number, and seriously, plays like him. He might push Heath by camps end...no joke. Michael Jackson...a project...can't cover very well...but its early. Lewis..STUD.

Those expecting Dak to have already completed fixing his footwork and mechanics after so little time are expecting too much. Even when Romo made changes, it took some time to become habit. It was one series in the first preseason game. It's going to take time. Kitna will keep working with him and I expect he'll improve.

As long as he delivers when it matters, it's fine.
